A new spiritual year turns over and the word that lands is blunt and beautiful: 5787 is a year of glory. Not the kind you chase with noise or hustle, but the kind that comes when you stop hiding and start abiding. I share why this season follows a progression from stability (the anchor), to devotion (the altar), and now into a deeper experience of God’s presence where He perfects what He’s been building in you.
We go straight to the heart of what blocks intimacy: shame, fear, distraction, and the parts of our soul we keep covered. From Eden’s “naked and unashamed” to Isaiah’s cleansing at the altar, we talk about what it means to be fully known by God and to discover Him as pleasure, rest, and Sabbath for your inner life. You’ll hear a clear framework for prayer that moves beyond asking for stuff and into surrender, confession, and renewal that actually transforms your mind and strengthens your identity.
Then we connect it to a striking biblical picture: “renew the kingdom” at Gilgal, where renewal is like sharpening a sword. When we get close to God, dullness gets stripped away and we start reflecting Jesus more clearly, not by striving for gifts, but by living in presence. I also challenge the idea that you have to wait for Sunday to draw near. This is about daily access, morning and evening surrender, and a hunger for what I call a coming glory revival.
If this resonates, subscribe, share the episode with a friend who feels distant from God, and leave a review so more people can find it. What would change in your life if you stopped hiding and made presence the priority?

The Year Of Glory Declared
SPEAKER_00Man, I am so excited. I'm excited because God, He is so faithful. I had been seeking the Lord and thought that maybe it was one of those situations where I didn't hear the Lord and I did. So I'm excited for what I have to share with you because we are celebrating the Jewish New Year, year 5787. Man, I'm always excited about the passing into a new year, but I think there's just something special about how I discernibly feel the excitement on this particular Hebrew calendar year. So we we leaped in or walked into the Hebrew year on Friday, September 11th. And so I was seeking God much before that for a word, and it just seemed like the Lord wasn't giving it to me. And then this morning I was before the Lord and he downloaded it into my spirit. And this is going to be for you the year of glory. The year of glory. And there's so much to this. I'm going to try to get into the ingredients of it, and then I'll be prophesying and preaching into this up until next September, I'm sure. In fact, the pre- the sermon I preached on Friday night at a service here in Greensboro for some friends of mine was all about this. It was about stepping into the glory of God. When I was ministering in South Korea in August, it was all about the glory of God. In fact, the apostle David Chun there in South Korea, his whole ministry is imparting the glory of God. And so it's been there. I just hadn't seen the message and clarity and sharpness until now. But this is your year of God's glory. And I'm going to explain what that means, but let us pray together. Father, you're good, you're faithful, you are perfect in all of your ways. Settle us in Jesus' name. So the year 5786, if you recall, you can go back and search this, was the year of the anchor. God sought to settle us, to reestablish us into knowing who we are in Him. And then we stepped into the Gregorian calendar year, which is in January, and that was the year of the altar. So the anchor and the altar, and now it's the year of glory. So we're talking about this journey, this transition. And this is during the decade of the mouth, where we are learning how to hear what God is saying in a better way, in a more efficient and effective way. And God is judging the voices of so many others that are not in step with him, and he's exposing even ministries that have not been in step with the word of the Lord. And so I'm excited for you because if you're watching, listening, sharing this, it means that you are valuing the pure, unadulterated heart of the Father. And that is expressed fully in his presence. So that's
Seven, Sabbath, And Completion
SPEAKER_00why the year of the glory is exciting me. So let's talk about the number seven. We know in the year 5, 7, 8, 7, we've got two sevens there. The last seven is the one that is imperative because that's the year that we're in. It is the seventh year in the decade of 80, in the year 5, 7, 8, 7. So we stepped into the seventh year of this decade, and it's a perfecting number. The number seven is when God is perfecting something. He has established it, he's brought it into a fruitful completion. It's the number of completion. And so in this year, God is going to bring you and settle you into a deeper relationship with Him and in His presence. Now, I have to be careful because we're getting into the scriptures here to show you this. It's about receiving the Word. Listen, I'm not prophesying this and under the assumption that every single Christian is going to experience God's glory this year. What I am saying is those who are asking, seeking, knocking, those that are following, those that are abiding, those that are walking with God, they're keeping themselves in the love of God. They are learning the tabernacle. They are learning the temple. They are learning Gethsemane. They are learning the stages of intimacy. They are learning that the pursuit is to behold the beauty of the Lord. They are learning that the goal is to uh to behold his glory. They are learning that the goal is to behold his robe filling the temple. They are understanding that it's to be on the river Shabar and being uh engulfed in the presence of God like the prophet Ezekiel. They are understanding that it is like being with the Lord in the Holy of Holies. That is the goal. That is Eden. Let's go to Eden now.
Eden Intimacy And Being Known
SPEAKER_00Genesis 2. This is where we first see the word naked in Scripture. Why am I talking about naked? I'm going to talk about it in just a second. Let me read this. Genesis 2, verse 25. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. We are the bride of Christ. God wants not just Jesus to be naked before him, he wants his people to be naked before him. Glory to God. And so he wants us to be bearing all before him. This is so key. Because if you want to experience the pleasure, and that's what Eden means, the pleasure of experiencing God's presence and intimacy, relationship, abiding in him, being Psalm 91, in the glory of God, abiding in the shadow of the Lord. Glory to God, dwelling in the secret place. The secret place is where we're alone with him, intimate with him. We are having time with him. We are experiencing him. The word prayer means to come to the one who is in authority. It literally means to speak to authority, but there is a bearing all required in order to receive him. The Sabbath was the seventh day. Glory to God. 5787. God's giving your soul rest this year by what? Bringing you into his presence. What did he do on the seventh day? He rested. What did Adam do? Adam rested with God. In unadulterated, unmitigated, unrestrained, unrestricted experience with God's presence. It's where God rests on the ark. The goal of being alive is to know him. My God, like Adam knew Eve. Are you getting it? Being naked is what's required before you can be known. Oh my God. That means when he says, I never knew you, there was a person that was hiding. There was a person who was running. There was a person who had not surrendered. So this year of the glory for you is a year where you're surrendering your all. So I preached on Friday night about this principle. This is what God is bringing you into if you will pursue
Incense, Confession, And Purification
SPEAKER_00it. At the door of the most holy place, the holy of holies, where the veil was, the veil's been torn, and so there is no restriction there. But before we enter into the presence, there is a there's a place where incense is to be uh uh released. And and that's where your soul is being uh is being renewed. It's where you're renewing your vows to the Lord. It means I'm surrendering my soul, my cravings, my desires. Everything is is nothing in spite of you. I need you alone, Lord, your presence, not anything you're gonna do for me, not anything you're gonna say for me. I'm approaching you with the idea that I just wanna be with you. I know I have issues and concerns and anxieties, I know I have supplications, but no, I'm coming to you to be known. I'm coming to you to renew my relationship. I'm coming to you to renew the kingdom of God within me. We're gonna go into that in just a second. I'm gonna prepare that verse right now. Renewing the kingdom. Oh my God. The kingdom of God is in you, said Scripture. And there's something that happens at the altar when we're gonna experience the glory of God. The glory of God is where we're conformed and transformed. We see this when Isaiah in Isaiah 6 comes in there and he says, I am a man of unclean lips, I dwell among a people of unclean lips. And then the sh the the seraphim brings coal from the what? Altar. That's the altar of incense, and touches Isaiah's lips and says, Now you've been purified. This is something to do daily. To confess, to be naked before the Lord. I'm a sinner. Thank you. I don't deserve you, but I'm coming to you because you have torn the veil. The body of Jesus was the veil. It was torn. When he gave his all, there was there's no restriction. We now can find pleasure. His name is God, his name is Jesus, his name is Holy Spirit. Our pleasure is him. And so he's saying, Come into me. Come to me, all of you who are weary, heavy laden, I will give you what? Rest. I will give you Sabbath. I will give you pleasure. I will give you Eden. I will give you glory. I will give you the glory of myself. I will glorify you by putting myself on you. I will cover you. I will let the cloud, the smoke, the reality of my presence, the splendor, the beauty of my person to engulf you so that you can see who you really are, so that you can find me and be found by me. Oh my God. This is explicitly the goal of God in the very beginning, when he put them in a place that is called in scripture Eden, but God didn't call it that. That word literally means pleasure. So when it says they were in Eden, they were in pleasure. We've given that a proper name. Oh, somebody give God some glory. So God's intent from the beginning of time, when he thought about you, before you even in the earth realm, was for you to come into the earth in order to learn him as pleasure. And for him to find pleasure in you. The Bible says, He who refreshes others will be refreshed. When he comes and renews the kingdom of you, he's being pleased. So to please God is to be available, naked, bearing all. That word naked means to bear. It means to take off all covering. Oh my God. So this is where we come and say, Lord, here I am. This morning in prayer, I just lay before the Lord and I just kept saying, God, I didn't have anything to say. I was weeping before the Lord, yearning for Him, not for Him to do anything. And I've been praying this for some time, years. God, bring me to a place where when I come to prayer, I don't even want to ask you for anything. I don't want to come that way. I want to come just to be with you because I need that pleasure. I need that satisfaction of being one with you because it's my identity, my God. It's not material, it's immaterial. It's the genese qua of being a son, it's the genese qua of being a daughter to experience being in his presence, to being in him, being known by him. Keep yourselves in the love of God. It means keep yourselves in him. He says, if you abide in me and I abide and my words abide in you, when you come in to abide, he then speaks into your spirit, conforms you, transforms you, sets you free, refreshes you, puts the kingdom of God in you in a greater measure so that you can do greater exploits for him by expressing him better. Just by revealing and reflecting him, you will naturally be more evangelistic. You will naturally be more apostolic, you will naturally be more prophetic, you will naturally be more of a teacher, you will naturally be more of a whatever it is God has called you to be. It's not about pursuing the gifts, it's not about pursuing anything, it's about being in him. This is what God is wanting to do in your life this year. And it's about bearing all. My God, let's talk about Isaiah, since the Spirit of God had me go there. Oh, no, no, no, no. He wants me to go, okay, renew the kingdom. Renew the kingdom.
Renew The Kingdom At Gilgal
SPEAKER_00This is in 1 Samuel chapter 11. Listen to this. This is what Samuel says. Samuel said to the people in verse 14, come, let us go to Gilgal and renew the kingdom there. Wow. Let us go to Gilgal and return and renew the kingdom there. This is where he's talking to Saul and the people. Okay? And uh they had been calling for the Lord. They had been calling for the Lord. And there have been some questions and and and some anxieties about what they should do. And Samuel shows up and he says, No one's gonna be put to death today. We're not, we're not doing, we don't have to do anything. He says, We're going to renew the kingdom. Now, can I take you there? Gilgal is where there was an altar. So what what Samuel, what Samuel learned as a boy when he was being raised in the tabernacle, it was it was that he was raised in the holy place. He revered God's presence. He had a desire to know him, and that's why the Lord began to visit him. He was drawing near to God, and God drew near to him. He didn't know he was drawing near. Remember, he didn't even know God was talking to him. He was doing it because he just had an innocent desire to be pure before the Lord because he treasured God. Set your affections on things above, set your mind on things above. Where your heart uh treasure is, there your heart will be also. So it's that part of us that says, I give you my whole heart. I will love you with my whole heart, soul, mind, and strength. My ability, my inward man, my thoughts, I'm giving them away. They are sacrifices for your pleasure because you're beautiful, because you're indescribable, because I put you first, because I just want to bless you. This is where you get the kingdom renewed. So he says, let's just go to the altar and let's renew the kingdom. Now, if you look at that Hebrew, renewing the kingdom means to sharpen a sword. Oh my God. So God says, this is your year of being sharpened. It's not, it's no longer just the year of the altar. We're moving past that. What am I doing at the altar? I'm coming as a weapon to be sharpened. Hallelujah. I'm getting the dullness removed. Oh my God. How many of us feel dull sometimes? We're supposed to be sharp. We're supposed to be weapons in the hands of God. He calls us literal arrows in his quiver. And so when we are not sharp, uh, we're not cutting through the world system and bringing God's kingdom as we could. But beyond that, we are not revealing the Father. Oh my God, when you sharpen a sword, it also gleams, it reflects, huh? It actually becomes a mirror. Praise the Lord. We are not mirroring Jesus when we become dull. My God. And so to renew the kingdom is something that happens when I'm determined to be as close to God as possible. And in that process, he comes, and as iron sharpens iron, so a man does so with his friends. My friend, the Holy Ghost, comes and takes off that thing or those issues in my mind, in my soul that have been distracting me from my identity, from my position, as being one seated in heavenly places with him, as being one loved by him. Dearly beloved is what we've been called by the apostle. He says, My joy and crown. That's what the Spirit of God wants to impart into you. This is what happens in our worship services. We don't know the words for it, but now you know. That incense altar is the crux of what I'm saying. For you to get this glory, you've got to come to the Lord every day, bearing all. It's all yours, God. I don't want anything. I just want to be near. I want to be known by you. We get beyond our wants and desires, and we just say, I don't want anything material. I don't want any the king, renew the kingdom in me. Okay, so so watch this.
Fear, Shame, And Entering The Cloud
SPEAKER_00You can be hiding from God and not even know it. The people of God in Exodus 20 hid from God when they saw the thunder and the lightning and the trumpet, heard the sound of the trumpets, and they saw the cloud of smoke because they were afraid of God. They didn't revere him, they didn't see the beauty in his extraordinary power. They didn't recognize that all of that was being given to them. Huh? The king said to Esther, I'll give you up to half my kingdom. God created a kingdom to be shared with us. He didn't want us to run from him, he wants us to know him. And so, as the rest of the people were running and afraid from him, the Bible says Moses entered into the cloud, into the darkness. There's mystery that God is saying, Come to this year. I want to perfect you, I want to complete you in my presence. It was Elijah in a cave hiding, but when he emerged from the cave, it's when he heard the Lord and the glory of God was revealed. It was Isaiah hiding from God, saying, I'm a man of unclean lips and I dwell among a people of unclean lips. He was disqualifying himself for being in God's presence. Have you been disqualifying yourself because of what you've done? Have you been disqualifying yourself because the enemy is reminding you of your past? Are you disqualifying yourself from being in the most close position with the spirit of the Lord in his presence, his kabod, huh? In his in his shekina because of the imperfections? No, no, no. It's the inner man God looks at. He looks at the heart. And so that incense altar is where you need
Give Your Soul And Find Glory
SPEAKER_00to go. Let the spirit of God enjoy your soul. Oh my Lord. So here's what happened at the incense altar right before the high priest would enter into the most holy place, the Holy of Holies. He would take incense and put it on hot coals. That incense represents the soul. It's the part of you that God wants. Jesus says, I came to save souls, huh? Huh? To bring souls to salvation. He didn't come to bring your spirit to salvation. It's your soul that has been running from God. It's your emotions. It's the part of you that tries to make your flesh your king. Oh my God. It's the part of you that Jesus says, No, let me, let me reign in your soul. My Jesus. And so the soul is where I can decide because it's mine and it's mine to give. I can decide to give it to this or I can give it to that. I'm going to give it to you, Lord. At the incense altar, it's where I'm taking that incense. And the Bible says, He said, fill your whole hand with it. He wants the whole part of you, the whole soul. He doesn't want you to hide those cravings that you have for other things. He wants you to recognize them and bear them before him. Lord, I know I want that car and I want to watch football more than spin in your presence. But here I am, and I'm saying, take my soul, Lord. I repent. I turn from debt, I turn away from dead works and I come to you. God, take even my imperfections. It's it's a renewing of vows. This is the year for you to learn how to renew your vows daily throughout the day, to become more aware of the battlefield of the soul, your mind, how your mind can get distracted and begin to think that a politician is your king. And you can come to the Lord and say, Lord, I'm a man of unclean lips and I live among a people of unclean lips, but I want your presence. Elijah knew he had run from Jezebel, and Jezebel wanted to remind him of how frail he uh looked to be. But God said, No, why are you here? What did Adam do? He hid from the Lord after what? They ate of the forbidden fruit. The tree of life was still in the garden, and they chose to eat from a fruit, from the knowledge of good and evil, from a tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They could have been eating from the tree of life for eternity. That's what Jesus is. But we choose to do what? What they did, try to be our own God and think that we know better than Him. We know evil and good better than Him. No, that's not our tree to eat from. But what we can do even in this, in salvation, and if you're not saved, I want you to say to the Lord right now, I give you my everything, and you're saved. I give you, and this is the vow for all of us. I give you my everything every day, not to just say it with lip service, but put your soul on the altar. Let that hot cold touch you. Let him remind you that he purifies you. It's him and his desire to have you that makes it okay. He still wants you, he still wants you close. What you've done does not disqualify you. Take all of it and give it back to him. And watch how the Spirit of God comes. And as your soul is being released to him, the Bible says that looked like smoke, huh? And it covers the ark, it covers, it enters into the presence. Your soul is what enters into the presence by the spirit. He sees the gift of your soul by the spirit, and it pleases him. And then he meets you there, your smoke meeting his smoke, your glory meeting his glory, your treasure on the inside. The Bible says that you have treasure in an earthen vessel. It's the soul. He says, That's what I want. And when you give it to him, he will come and he will reveal himself to you. The blood has already been applied by Jesus on the horns of the altar. But you can come and be as Jesus on Gethsemane, who prayed until the sweat was like drops of blood, and he applied it by the Spirit to The horns of the most holy place, the Ark of the Covenant, the Ark of the Testimony of God, the mercy seat. And you can come before that throne of grace to obtain grace and mercy in your time of need, which is every day, all day. And you don't have to wait till Sunday. Glory to God. You don't have to wait till Wednesday. This is your year of glory. He said that he came to justify you, huh? Sanctify you. And then he says, glorify you. He makes you as himself. How? Not because you earn it, but because you make yourself available. Don't hide from God this year. Don't hide from God. Come to the Lord, confess it. I am a man of uncleanness. And I come. So the high priest, before he would enter into the tent, he would wash himself on the day of atonement, his whole body. This year I want you to come to the Lord and say, Wash me. Put your soul on those coals and let him burn away the impurities. You don't do it. He is the purifying agent. He is salt. Come on. He is light. Glory to God. He's the one with the fuller's soap. Huh? Glory to the Lord. He's the one who says, I've cleansed you by the word I've spoken. That's why when he says to the to the Lord, when he came out out of the river Jordan, and the Spirit of the Lord descended as a dove on Jesus, he says, Behold, my son, in whom I'm well pleased. He purified Jesus' heart. He renewed the kingdom in that moment by affirming who he is as a son. Let the Lord affirm you in who you are and discern the purification that comes forth. It's by his love that we are purified and brought into his presence. I am prophesying into your spirit that this is the year of glory for you, and that it's connected to your surrender on a daily basis. You're going to surrender your morning to the Lord this year. You're going to surrender your evening. You're going to come to the altar morning and evening. You're going to burn incense before him like the high priest would do every day. And you're going to surrender your day to him. You're going to surrender your night to him. You're going to let him renew the kingdom. And you're going to experience the mysteries of the kingdom of God. You're going to see mysteries leaping off the page in prayer before you pick up your Bible, before you go before the Lord and let him purify your soul and put your soul on the altar and let him bring his glory into your life, into your spirit, into your soul. He purifies your mind. He's going to renew your mind as he renews the kingdom every single day. It's by the renewing of your mind that you're going to grow more and more into the conforming to the image of Jesus Christ. Do not be conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. Watch how God brings you into his glory, into the Holy of Holies, where you only desire to behold Him. I pray in the name of Jesus as I wrap this up that this year of 5787 on God's ordained calendar for his people, that you will simply have this desire to behold his glory. That's all I have for now. But I know the Spirit of God is on this. This is the year of glory for you, for him to glorify you as you enter into his glory. We all talk about revival. Listen, the next revival is a glory revival. I've seen it. God wants you to know him and he wants you to be known by him. And by nature, as you walk with God, you will see revival in your life. And as the church grows in its devotion to be refreshed in his presence more than anything, we will be more empowered to change our communities. May it be unto you as the Lord has spoken. God bless you. I will be prophesying into this for the next 12 months. I love you. Be blessed. Bye bye.
