What if prayer is less about our words and more about God’s? We dive into a rich, layered journey that moves from Genesis 1’s “let there be light” to Revelation 19’s “testimony of Jesus,” mapping how intimacy with God becomes the engine of prophetic clarity and purity. We explore the firmament as a living metaphor for the divide between seen and unseen realms, not for speculation but to show how God brings His presence into places we assume are empty—and invites us to meet Him there.
We share how Jeremiah 9 reframes success: don’t boast in wisdom, strength, or riches; boast in understanding and knowing the Lord. That knowing is intimate, more like the marriage language in the Song of Solomon than mere study. From there, we get practical: build a “tent of meeting” in your home, give God your mornings, and treat prayer as attentive stillness. Learn to listen with the inner ear, surrendering motives, cravings, fears, and emotions so the soul no longer drowns out the Spirit. We talk about spiritual pushback when you advance, why nearness forms purity, and how to avoid the toxic pull of mammon that corrupts gifted voices.
You’ll hear live prophetic exercises, tender testimonies, and a simple framework for weighing revelation with scripture. Not every vision is inevitable; some are invitations that require intercession. Ask God for a passage, search it out, and let the written word marry the living word. Together we contend to become “burning ones”—lives laid on the altar so the fire of God can fall, not for hype but for holiness. If your heart longs to know God’s voice with clarity, to carry Jesus’ personality in what you say and create, and to walk away from noise into nearness, this conversation will meet you in the deep and show you how to breathe there.
If this resonates, subscribe, share with a friend who’s hungry to hear God, and leave a review telling us one practice that helps you get still.

Opening, Testimonies, And Spiritual Pushback
SPEAKER_05So cool that idea that you're saying here, Jesus, breathe with me. It's literally true. When you breathe, you have recycled something. He breathed. Y'all have some fun?
unknownAmen. Who?
SPEAKER_05Who has a testimony of something unusual that you can say happened since we last met that you believe has a prophetic meaning? You think it's pertinent to why we're doing this? Anyone have a testimony? Okay. Anyone have any nightmares? No? Okay.
SPEAKER_02Not a recent point, but I have had one that I've always wondered like what it meant.
Genesis 1, Light And The Redeemed Void
SPEAKER_05But it wasn't since last week, right? Yeah. Okay. So tonight what we're gonna do is if you talk the mic so it'll be on recording and everybody can hear you. Um someone in our house had uh we encounters with Satan this week. Oh yeah. So what happens is the enemy, if he sees you advancing, he tries stuff. So that's why I asked that question. Um that happened. So something happened you believe was a scare attack. Visitations, uh maybe someone suddenly started acting different. Like all of a sudden started acting different. So let me tell you something. The devil is so afraid, he is so afraid that we will walk in our inheritance. That's right. And the main inheritance is the voice of God. He does not want you to attend to the voice of God. We don't have time to get that. Alright, watch this. I just felt led to share this with you.
unknownLet's go to Genesis chapter 1. Um, we're gonna do a few things tonight.
SPEAKER_05We're gonna do this, which is gonna be kind of a prophetic exercise where I'm gonna show you something, and I believe you're gonna catch some prophetic interpretation just by listening, just by reading it with me and hearing the word of the Lord. We're gonna catch it. Also, we're gonna have a prophetic exercise tonight where we'll be challenged to see in the spirit. Okay, so be ready for that. It's gonna be fun. We're gonna uh see in the spirit. See in the spirit, right? Okay. Alright. Um and then we're gonna talk about knowing God. So we talked last week in our introduction. Here's what's here. Is anyone else here for the first time? Okay, so for those who weren't here, we talked about a whole lot, but the main thrust was we prioritize him and we hear him better. But the reason we prioritize him is because we're seeing him as beautiful, we're seeing him as valuable, our treasure. We're pursuing his voice. We're not just sitting and waiting and just saying, one day he's gonna speak to me, and I'm just gonna go about my business. Like, no, no, we're making room to sit at his feet because we want to see him, we want to know him. We're gonna talk more about that tonight. Okay, I got a really cool verse that I believe is gonna change the world. But first, let's talk about Genesis 1. Let's read it together. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was without form and what? What is the saying in scripture? And darkness. Darkness was on the face of the deep. But what's that word? I have void. Alright? So the earth was without form and void. So, how can the earth be and be void at the same time? Watch this. When the third of the angels were cast down, they were cast down before earth was created. He would cast them into a void. How do we know this? Let's keep reading. It says that darkness was on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. So we have earth, a void, and waters. Okay, how can waters be in the void? Okay, let's keep reading. Then God said, Let there be light, and there was light. That was God saying, Let there be me. So there was a void, there was something called darkness. We don't have time to go into the Hebrew meaning of that, but it means more than darkness. Okay, this is literally the realm of darkness. So, and we're gonna see it here in the next verse. But God said, Now that I've uh I've allowed this void to exist, I'm gonna fill that void with me. I'm redeeming the void, I'm gonna make the void worth something. Watch this. He said, Let there be me, and then there was light, because there's no sun in it, right? There's no sun, where's the light come from?
SPEAKER_07Him.
SPEAKER_05Watch this. Verse 4 and God saw the light and it was good. So he seen Jesus, and he defined it as he defined him as good. Watch this though, and God divided the light from the darkness. Did you notice something that was not said? He didn't say the darkness was good. So light, him, Jesus, was sent into the earth to exist to be good in what there was a void, what was described in our English word as darkness. He's redeeming darkness, but he never calls the darkness good. He only calls the light good. So light and darkness both existed, and darkness is the only thing, or light is the only thing that's called good. What does that mean? It means that everything evil that he had cast out of heaven was already here before he was. He literally said, You guys can't be here anymore. I'm gonna cast you into a void, but I'm not gonna just leave the void, I'm gonna redeem it. I'm gonna make it useful, I'm gonna show my love in this void. Watch this. God called the light day, and the darkness he called night. So the evening and the morning were the first day. Now let's go back to verse one. God created how many heavens?
SPEAKER_11It's plural. The heavens. Plural.
Heavens, Firmament, And Realms Explained
SPEAKER_05He created heavens. Okay, so watch this in verse six. Then God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters and let it divide the waters from the waters. Hmm. So the waters were heaven or one of them. Remember, the Spirit was hovering on the waters, but the earth was void. So the waters were not yet in the earth. We're seeing the waters being brought into the earth. Now who divided the water that was in heaven, he brought some of heaven into the earth. This is where Eden was brought into existence. Watch this. Thus God made the firmament or the division and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters that were above the firmament. So it was so. So there is a spirit realm, the waters, that is below the divide and above the divide. Hmm. And God called the firmament. What does it say in your Bible? Heaven is a singular plural. Ah. So that means there was a heaven that existed before the heaven. The heaven where his abode was, where the sons of God, the angels were, before Satan rebelled and he cast them out of the heaven. Then he created multiple heavens. He had a heaven where he was his abode, and he had angels, and the whole time was going on, and it was his resting place, and then the rebellion had been. So now he's like, I'm gonna make it a lesser heaven, a lower heaven, because I got to redeem the void that I just cast these demons. I'm not gonna just have a void and it has no purpose. I'm gonna redeem that void and I'm gonna put myself there and I'm gonna put some heaven underneath the original heaven. I'm gonna create heavens. So what God was showing us, watch this, is the divide between the earth realm and the spirit realm. Heaven. This is what Paul calls the third heaven. This is in the tabernacle. I told y'all the tabernacle is a great revelation of God. We're gonna get there. But in the tabernacle, the curtains over the tabernacle, there's four of them. There's one that caps it off, and then there's three layers. And in there you see the first heaven, the second heaven, the third heaven. It's really cool. So then you have the second heaven. Then you have uh first heaven. Guess what? Guess what the first heaven is? We live in the first heaven. So God made this firmament. It's not gonna work right there. He created this firmament. Is that anybody finding that word to be mysterious? The word firmament. Do you can you even describe what firmament is? It's a mystery. It's literally the interpreter's best attempt to describe the unseen separation between the realm you can see and the realm you cannot. There's no word for it. It's a mystery, the separation. It's impossible for our brains to verbalize. Okay? So there's this firmament. The firmament first came and was introduced to the original heaven in order to separate the original heaven into three. So now we have the demonic realm or the void or the darkness.
unknownThat's why it's called the kingdom of darkness.
SPEAKER_05So he made a divide and he created a separation between God's abode. I know my handwriting is absolutely horrible. God's abode of the third heaven. This is where the 20 and four elders is. Years. And I dug into it. I searched the Hebrew meaning of the word firmament. I searched the Hebrew word for heaven. I searched the Hebrew word for divided. I searched the Hebrew word for darkness. And there's a pursuit in the prophetic work, there's a pursuit of mysteries. We're going to the heart of the matter. What's God's heart? How is his personality expressed in scripture beyond just us memorizing it? If I come across scripture and I don't understand it, guess what that is? It's an invitation for you to get understanding. Bible says that after the resurrection, Jesus was still on the earth during the 40 days that he was on the earth, and he was walking with these disciples that did not recognize him. Remember this? And the Bible says that he opened their mind so they could understand, and then he taught them the kingdom of God. These are the same people that spent time with him. They didn't recognize him because they had never seen him in his spiritual, right? His spiritual personality, spiritual uh persona. He was hiding. Don't you find that interesting? These are people who spent time with him, but yet he was still hiding something from them. Interesting. But he knew their heart, and so he, as he walked with them, he unveiled the kingdom of God to them because their heart was open to receiving understanding. Do you get where I'm going? With all thy getting, get understanding. So what we're doing here is a work of discovering God.
unknownHow he works, why he does it, why did he?
SPEAKER_05God introduced me to the idea that the void needed to be redeemed. He is a redeemer. He had to show his love. How does he express a godly love? By not destroying those demons, but allowing them to still exist. Why does he say that Satan considered my servant Job? He still was giving Satan an opportunity to recognize righteousness and change. He was saying, he was holding up Job and saying, you can be like Job. That's literally what that means. Have you considered doesn't mean, hey, I'm looking for someone for you to attack. No. He was saying, hey Satan, we're so glad you came. Thanks for coming back. What have you been up to? I've been going to and fro throughout the earth, you know, going up and down, and then okay, great, you're still no restless and you got no peace. Have you considered my servant Job? He's got peace. He's blameless. He's a man of righteousness. He's holding, he holds us up to Satan and says, could you see my value now in what I've done in Pears' life? But Satan doesn't think like that. But you learn God's unfailing, never-ending, lavish love through reading with the Holy Spirit and spending time diving into understanding Him. And you read Scripture differently the more you learn Him. So here's here's here's the metaphor. Here's the metaphor. What anybody knows what happens the deeper you go into the ocean? To your body. What does your body do? Anyone know? Pressure, pressure.
unknownPressure.
SPEAKER_05The pressure does what? It will destroy you. You'll be disintegrated. Right? So imagine the waters, you know. So the spirit was hovering over the waters. The waters is describing heaven, the realm of the spirit. The spirit's connected to this water. Wherever the water is, the spirit's there and it's brooding. That's what that word hovering literally means, brooding and getting ready to produce or give birth. Right? So water represents the spirit of God. So if you imagine your life as being a scuba diver, and you're diving into the waters, and your whole life is spent going deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper into the spirit, into understanding God. You'll never reach bottom, but the more you go down, the more you're going to be crushed. The more you're going to lose yourself in Him. The more you're going to be, you're going to suffer. That's why I ask that question about anybody to visit, because the more you delve into truth, the enemy is going to get more mad. Alright? Finances, stuff goes on with that. Stuff's going on with kids, stuff's going with you. We can't avoid it. So I'm inviting you to join me in this process right here. And now we're going to talk about what that look like. Go to the book of Jeremiah. Go to the book of Jeremiah. The book of Jeremiah, chapter 9. And go to verse 23. I'm going to ask somebody to read this. Where's that microphone? Who wants to volunteer to read? Read it.
unknownAnybody?
SPEAKER_05Can you pass this back to her, sir? Yeah. What's your name again, sir? Call him Greg. Greg. Greg, thank you. Verse 23 in Jeremiah chapter 9. Can you read verses 23 and 24?
SPEAKER_01It's on. Thus saith the Lord, let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his mighty. Let not the rich man glory in his riches. But let him that glory glory glory in this. That he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercises loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, saith the Lord.
SPEAKER_05Who's got a different translation? That we can pass you a mic. Keep passing to this young lady in here. Oh, I love this scripture. This is life-changing. Right here next to you. Jebra yesterday. Oh, I loved it. Read us, uh, tell us what version you got, please. Yeah, alright.
SPEAKER_02This is what the Lord says.
SPEAKER_05You're it's on.
Pursuing Mysteries And God’s Redeeming Love
SPEAKER_02This is what the Lord says. Let not the wise boast of their wisdom, or the strong boast of their strength, for the rich boast of their riches. But let the one who boasts boasts about this that they have the understanding to know me, and that I am the Lord who exercises kindness, justice, and righteousness on earth. For in these I delight, declares the Lord.
SPEAKER_05Amen. You want to know God, you're gonna humble yourself and allow him to humble you too. So I'm gonna read the New King James. It says, Thus says the Lord, let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, let not the mighty man glory in his might, nor let the rich man glory in his riches, but let him who glories glory in this. That he understands and knows me. That I am the Lord, exercising loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight, says the Lord. In the beginning, God created heavens and earth, and then he said, Let there be light. Let there be light is where God's saying, now you can understand and know me. So you know, people used to say in the 80s, I don't know if we remember this, what's the purpose of life? This is it to know God, not to be saved. That's not the purpose of your existence. Your purpose is to know God. That word for know is the same word that's used when it says Adam and New Eve. It is the most intimate of relationships in your life. So as you're considering that, think about how much you listen to God. I mean, if you're married, yell around listen. So, how much do you listen to God? How much do you yearn to hear his voice? How much do you yearn to please him? This is the life of a worshiper, and it is inexplicably connected to prophetic ministry. Because a prophetic person who doesn't know God is gonna have a perverted message, they're gonna pervert what God said. Okay? Is this hitting anybody? Is verse 24 hitting anybody? If anyone glories about anything, if you're going to boast about anything, boast in this that you understand and know me. Wow! How cool is that? He's saying, Be a scuba diver. If you're gonna glory in everything, glory in your pursuit of understanding and knowing me. How cool is that? Last week we talked about him being our priority and all these things because he is our treasure. You treasure something that you're intimately connected to its value, its value commands your behavior. Think about if you had a gold bullion bar in your house, you would put it in a safe, lock it, and hide the safe. You wouldn't give the code to anybody because you treasure the value of that thing. It's so valuable, it's not, it's just for you. See, this is what's so cool about God is he can love you like you're the only one on the limb. And you can be selfish with him. I am yours, you are mine. Alright. Let's go to Psalm of Solomon. Here is my suggestion to you. If you ever feel far from God, open up Song of Solomon.
SPEAKER_06Oh Holy Spirit.
SPEAKER_05Okay, yeah. Okay, we're gonna do um, we're gonna start at the beginning, the Song of Psalms, which is Solomon's. Now, New King James versus the NIV versus Christian Standard versus New King James is gonna be different because depending on who interpreted each of those translations, they all they they actually can't always determine who's speaking. They can't always determine if it's the Shulamite or the image of us or if it's Solomon or her paramour, which represents the Lord. And there's a reason for that. Because our heart is supposed to mirror his toward him. The way he treats us, we're supposed to treat him. So there are times when my translation is going to say the Shulamite's speaking, that we're speaking to God. Our heart is speaking to God. When your translation might say it's actually him. Interesting, huh? Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth. Does that sound like Adam, Noah, and Eve? This is where we're invited. Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth, for your love is better than wine. Because of the fragrance of your good ointments, your name is ointment poured forth.
unknownTherefore, the virgins love you. Draw me away. And the daughters of Jerusalem said, We will run after you.
The Scuba Diver Metaphor Of Going Deeper
SPEAKER_05The Shulamite then says, The king has brought me into his chambers. The daughters of Jerusalem say, We will be glad and rejoicing you. We will remember your love more than wine. Shulamite says, Rightly do they love you. I am dark but lovely, O daughters of Jerusalem, like the tents of Kedar, like the curtains of Solomon. Do not look upon me because I am dark, because the sun is tanned me. You ever feel like that? That God, why does he love me? That's basically what she's saying. My mother's sons were angry with me. They made me the keeper of the vineyards, but my own vineyard I cannot, I have not kept, I have not always been faithful. Then she says to her beloved, Tell me, O you whom I love, where do you feed your flock? Where the flock where can I be with the people you love? is what she's saying. Where do you make it rest at new? For why should I be as one who veils herself by the flocks of your companions? She said, I'm not going to hide from you. If you do not know, Ophers among women, follow in the footsteps of the flock and feed their little goats beside the shepherds' tents. This is the Lord speaking. He says, I have compared you, my love, to my filly among Pharaoh's chariots. Phillies are very glorious. Your cheeks are lovely with ornaments, your neck with chains of gold. It's showing God looking at the details of how He made you. Just the little things you might not think about. He's just like, Oh, I love your cheeks. We will make you ornaments of gold with studs of silver, say the dars of Jerusalem. While the king is at his table, my spike nard sends forth its fragrance. A bundle of myrrh is my beloved to me, that lies all night between my breasts. My beloved is to me a cluster of hinnablooms and the vineyards of England. And the Lord says, Behold, you are fair, my love. Behold, you are fair. You have double eyes. He's looking at your eyes. And she says, Behold, you are handsome, my beloved. Yes, pleasant. Also, our bed is green. The beams of our houses are cedar and our raptors of fur. You're invited into a relationship with God where you are hearing him affirm you like this. It's not like he's going to quote this to you. He's going to have a personal, loving message about your uniqueness, what he is pleased with. You don't have to do anything to dress it up. He just is pleased with you because he made you. This is the breakthrough kind of relationship that you can become affirmed in your sonship, your daughtership, your brideship. Where we're not trying to perform for him. We're just being loved. And by virtue of him recognizing our treasure, we learn to treasure him. Because we in light of his perfection, we realize that he's literally choosing to love us that way. That his heart is so big that he can't help but love us and we just fall apart. So what I'm doing, I know this is class about the five communications, is I'm helping us get our heart aligned with his because that's where prophetic ministry starts. Go to Revelation 19. Revelation 19. I do believe we went there briefly last week, but here we're gonna see it in a different light. Revelation 19 in verse 10. Can somebody read that for us? Revelation 19 and verse 10. And let us know what translation happens.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_09And I fell on his feet to worship him. So he said to me, Do not do that.
unknownI am a fellow servant of yours and your brethren. Behold the testimony of Jesus to worship God.
SPEAKER_08For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Read that last sentence again where it says for the testimony of Jesus. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Thank you.
Jeremiah 9: Boast In Knowing God
SPEAKER_05The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Prophecy is the expression of Jesus. I'm going to say it again. Prophecy is the expression of Jesus. There are a lot of people who are gifted in prophecy, but they don't have this understanding. So they hear God, but they have extra ingredients in what they say God said. And they don't carry the personality of Jesus. Because they're not as acquainted with Him as they should be. So you might be saying, well, why does He allow that? Well, the Bible says He gives gifts without repentance. He gives us the gifts because He loves us, but He wants us to invest in the gifts so that we can be part of His building of His kingdom with purity. Purity. Purity comes from nearness with God. Period. Purity comes from nearness with God. This process right here, going deeper. This right here, the ocean, the Spirit, the Spirit of God, also known as the Comforter, the Paracletos, the one who is beside us. He is the expression of the bridegroom in the earth. Being intimate with the Holy Spirit is the way you become acquainted with Jesus. So diving into the Spirit is the process of being nearer and nearer and nearer and nearer and nearer to God. Anyone have any questions or thoughts about anything we've said so far? If so, please raise your hand so we can get you in mind. Any thoughts? Even if it's like aha moments, a question, confusion, anything. What's on your heart? I want to hear from you guys. I want us to talk tonight. Who's got something? Anything. Come on, y'all. Talk to me. Nobody? I'm not surprised. Prophetic people are creative? Sensitive? Raise your hand if you're sensitive in here. Come on, be honest. Do you take criticism well? The answer's no, raise your hand. Because the most creative people on the planet are prophetic people, and we're the most sensitive. Because we cannot separate ourselves from what we do for who we are. We can't separate them. So if you take a painting that one of y'all, one of y'all in here is painting. One of y'all, some of y'all in here are writing, y'all, y'all singing, but you can't stand to hear somebody giving feedback. Because you know what you're producing is from here. You don't necessarily want to hear somebody say you can be improved because that almost makes you sound like you need to be improved. You can't separate it. This is the prophetic problem. This is the prophetic problem is our emotions get mixed in with our intimacy with God, and we can't always separate our emotions from the Holy Ghost. John the Baptist struggled with this. He knew the wrath of God about sin and unrighteousness. And he called people names. You vipers. Listen, I'm not saying that's necessarily him being wicked, but I'm not quite sure it was the full measure of the expression of Christ. Now, here's the thing that's so cool. No prophet, no person, no believer, no disciple of Christ carries the full expression of God. That's why we're called the body, and every joint supplies. And so there's a part of the kingdom that is John the Baptist, but then there's a there's a Jonah, and then there's a Daniel, right? And all of them together give us a more full picture of the fullness of Christ because the spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus, not the spirit of prophecy in you only, it's in all of the prophetic. The prophetic is literally another word for saying the message, the message of Christ. You're a vessel producing an expression of Christ, it can be artistic, right? It could be song, it could be dance. The Bible calls Miriam, Moses' sister, a prophetess, and she danced and sang. We talked about David last week. David invented instruments and gave them to the Levites and said, Here, I've invented a new sound to produce and worship for the Lord. Amen. Go for it. Yes, give me a mic, please, somebody. I want to make sure we can get you on the recording. Go for it, my friend. I just kind of failed.
SPEAKER_12Let's share what I felt like the Holy Spirit shared with me. And it's a simple revelation, but when we're talking about how we're to know God, the way that Adam and Eve makes it so much more important that the part of the scripture where it shows and shares about how Eve was made from real. And how well Adam would have known Eve because she was literally part of Eve.
unknownCame from East.
SPEAKER_12You know yourself so well to know that that's our calling to know God that way. That is so we don't know people in staying age that way. We don't. We all close ourselves off and stuff. But it's so important how while scriptures share the fact that he put Adam to sleep, remove the rib, over this side, remove the rib of me. My God.
Song Of Solomon And Intimacy With God
Testimony Of Jesus: Spirit Of Prophecy
SPEAKER_05Wow. Cool thing about that verse is that word rib comes up again in our least uh 2 Samuel, where Joab stabs one of the enemies of the kingdom. And it talks about he stabbed it between the third and fourth rib. And if you research that, scholars believe that that term means it's the rib that protected the heart. So imagine the imagery of a rib being a move that protected Adam's heart, but it was the part of him that he gave. That's the cross. Jesus didn't protect himself. He let them kill him for us. Isn't that interesting? What explain that? Yeah, so the word rib, Hebrew, that same word is used later in the scriptures. In 1 Samuel believed it is, and it was, I think it was Joab, it was either Joab or Adam. It talks about how he stabbed someone between the third and fourth rib. And that, if you look in the concordance in some of the um uh commentaries, they believe that represents the rib or the area of the ribcage that protects the heart. So the idea of the heart being the protection being removed from the heart in order to create takes on a different connotation. This is what you're gonna learn too, the prophet, is that everything's connected in church, everything. It's all a song, man. It's all beautiful in one big song. The Bible is God's heart. So we're laying foundation before our fellowship. And I say this this is a fellowship. First is a fellowship with the Lord, but it's a fellowship among us. I want us to learn each other a little bit. I want us to learn our struggles, I want us to learn our victories, what we've been through, how God has brought us here, how he's formed us into who we are. We're gonna be we're gonna have these share these kind of things. Um let's let's let's warm the mic tonight, okay? Let's talk. If something's in the pit of your stomach, let's just let it out. Let's start talking. Okay. Um what's your name for it? Robert. Thank you, Robert, for giving us that. That's cool. You just gave us like prophetic insight. You took the page and the words and you made them come alive. That's our work of the Holy Ghost. What the Holy Ghost does is he breathes on something and it comes, it has life. There are a lot of people that read the Bible and don't get life because they read the Bible with their hearts closed. They just want to read it for knowledge. You know, Muslims read the Bible, they can quote it. I had uh, as a testimony, I had some Hebrew Israelites in downtown Greensboro come to me one day and uh they try to teach me the Bible, and I'm listening. And uh they tell me they read John 15 and talk about the Holy Spirit, and uh and the guy says the comforter lives in Brooklyn. So I sat there and I'm thinking, he's not laughing. Okay, so I you know they read the same Bible, but the one who makes himself look like an angel of light takes these words and he does what the Bible calls his trade. His industry is to choice. Which is why he impersonated an animal that Adam and Eve were coined with. He impersonated an animal they they were hanging out with all the time, and they weren't surprised that they could understand the animals because they had that kind of mind. They could understand what animals were saying, that was wrong, because they were literally the rulers and commanders of the earth, and they knew everything God needed them to know about everything. And so when Satan started speaking, they weren't surprised. But you get my point, right? He hides, he's so. So reading the scriptures has to be done with a surrendered, loving, tender heart for him. That's when we get revelation, okay? Um, listen to this talking about, we're still talking about intimacy with God. Exodus 33, verse 7. I'm gonna read this. Moses took his tent. Whose tent was it? Moses. Moses took his tent and pitched it outside the camp, far from the camp, and called it the tabernacle of meeting. So Moses was so wanting and desiring to have private time with God, he pitched a tent of his own, far from everybody else, and called it the tabernacle of meeting. He gave it a name. This is where I only meet with God, I don't do anything else. And it came to pass that everyone who sought the Lord went out to the tabernacle of meeting, which was outside the camp. So it was whenever Moses went out to the tabernacle, all the people rose, and each man stood at his tent door and watched Moses. Now, watch this. And it came to pass when Moses entered the tabernacle, this is what God literally does. As Moses entered the tabernacle, the pillar of cloud descended and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses. This is what our life should look like. We're getting away from everybody and everything, and we're approaching him in prayer. We're approaching him to meet with him. Not because we want something, we want him. And he comes down and he talks to us. Prayer is not an exercise. Prayer in American culture is something that people, when you hear prayer, people are thinking, oh, that's when I talk to God. No, it's where he talks to you. What does it say right there? It said the Lord talked with Moses. Who's taking the lead? God is in prayer, God takes the lead. You sit and wait for him to come. And let him speak. All the people saw the pillar of a cloud standing at the tabernacle door, and all the people rose to worship. And watch this in verse 11. This is the key. The Lord spoke to Moses face to face as a man speaks to his friend. And he would return to the camp. But watch this his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, did not depart from the tabernacle. Joshua got the revelation that what Moses is doing is the secret and the point of being alive. I'm not leaving. Every time that the Lord descends, I'm gonna be here. Which was why he was later entrusted with leading the people, because he was so in love with God. Love of God, knowing God, understanding God is the foundation of everything in this church in life, in worship, if you're in a worship team, if you're writing books, if you're a realtor, if you're a hairdresser, if you it should your intimacy with God should be the foundation of everything you do. It should be your yearning desire to be with him. How do we get there? We start. He will reveal himself. You don't have to work for this. Just do it and watch him reveal himself. And the more he reveals, and the deeper you go, the more you're gonna want to be with him, and the more you're gonna want to know. Then Moses in verse 12 said to the Lord, listen to this. This is the man who saw the burning bush, this is the man who raised his arms and the rips he party. This is the man who, when he said it, the the not river turn to blood. This is the man who was intimately connected with God. He heard God's voice, he saw the burning bush and saw glory. Right? But watch what he says. He says, You say to me, bring up this people, but you have not let me know who you will send with me. Yet you have said, I know you by name, and you have also found grace in my sight. Now, therefore, I pray, I pray, I pray, I request. If I found grace in your sight of sight, show me now your way. Wow. Show me now your way. He's saying, Show me without delay who you are, how you do what you do, what is this all about? He's like, I gotta know now. He still wants more of God. He he didn't get to the point, he's like, Oh, look, look what I've done. I let God's people out of Egypt after 400 years of captivity. Yeah, you know, I spoke to Iraq and you know, the water came out, and you know, I'm doing all this great stuff. No, this brother was hungering and thirsting for God. His life was about God. He had already been on the mountain 40 days, 40 nights with God. And he's like, that's not enough. He said, Show me now your way that I may know you, that I may what? Know you that word again. I just want to know you. So the more he learned of God, where we would be like, Man, I don't know if I can do better, I don't know if I can get deeper than that. He still was like, No, I haven't scratched the surface. He's like he knew in his spirit there was more, and it wasn't a selfish like because he wants to be holier or better than anybody. He just he got the revelation that the more he knew God, the more love he experienced, the more love he wanted. Yeah, that I may know you and may find grace in your sight and consider that this nation is your people. He's saying, Man, I ain't done nothing. I can't leave these people. I need to know you. And he said, This is God, my presence will go with you and I will give you rest. And then Moses, listen to his addiction. If your presence does the presence does not go with us, do not bring us from here. He's like, Whatever we, whatever we do, I need you with us. It's gotta be with you. Let's go to Exodus 34. So this that was where he requested the Lord to show his glory. Now let's see how the Lord revealed his glory. Verse 2. God said to him, Be ready in the what? In the morning. Start your day with God. Before the kids wake up, before you look at your phone and your calendar. When you open your eyes, have a plan for how you're gonna go straight to Him. He said, Come up in the morning, be ready. Be ready. He told him the day before. He's basically saying, I want to see you first thing in the morning. God is inviting Moses. I want to see you first thing in the morning. First light, come on. I'll be waiting for you. And he says, and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai and present yourself to me there at the top of the mountain. And no man shall come with you. He wants you alone. And let no man be seen throughout all the mountain, let neither flocks nor birds feed before the mountain. Okay. Verse 5. Now the Lord descended in the cloud and stood with him there and proclaimed the name of the Lord. Wait a minute, he stood. This is Jesus Christ. He stood with him and proclaimed the name of the Lord. Jesus is the name of God. Later in this passage, even Jacob had this situation. You know, God didn't let Moses see his face. Jesus is the face of God. Seeing Jesus was seeing the face of God. Jacob, what is your name? God says, Why do you ask my name? Because Jesus had not come yet. He did not come until the time that had been prepared. And he revealed his name. Jesus' name means. Anybody know what Jesus' name means? He means salvation. He introduces himself through his name. I'm the one who rescues you, right? So are we seeing the relationship here? Anyone seeing the relationship? Raise your hand. Are you seeing the relationship? First thing in the morning, it's like, I'm giving you priority of my time. I'm giving you priority of my time. Verse 4 says, Moses rose early in the morning. So this is this is a sacrifice, y'all. This is when your body says no. This is when your eyes feel like they're burning. This is, but the more you meet with him in these times where it's sacrificial, the more you get used to knowing it's worth it. He's worth it. So we descended to him there in verse 5, proclaim the name of the Lord. And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, the Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity, transgression, and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and the children's children to the third and fourth generation. So Moses meeting Haston bowed his head toward the earth and worshiped. So Moses got a revelation of God no one had gotten yet. Because of his addiction, his unbridled passion to know God for himself. I need to know anymore. The drive to go deeper comes from him. You cannot do it yourself.
unknownYou have to make the time and then let him meet you there, and then he'll give you his heart again and again and again. Now, we're supposed to also pray in the evening and pray midday.
SPEAKER_05Is it possible you can set alarms for God? I'm gonna remember to pray at 3 o'clock. I'm gonna remember to pray at 12, I'm gonna remember to play at 7 p.m., whatever that is. Do you think God's gonna honor that? You don't think that blesses the bridegroom? It's like talking to your honey and saying, I'm going to take time out of my day to call you and let's talk. Oh my god. That's marriage 101.
SPEAKER_11I suck with that. You know, it just said pray about ceasing. And you know, I take that literally. You know. I really don't know what it means. It's like the literally about something because I'd spend all day in a crow. I'm praying, I'm praying, I'm praying, I'm praying. And then I read something today that uh I guess the Lord led you to, and nobody gotta listen. Well, I've been doing all the darn talking. You know, I gave him a chance to talk, you know. So I'm having some trouble with that.
SPEAKER_09So there's a little thing we ought to do, Johnny.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_09There's a little thing called discipline that I've learned from this man. If in the first moments when I don't think I want, this is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad. I've trained my mind against me. It's not perfect, but I'm gonna proceed. I even have one alarm that is one far in your farmer's songs. Urgent, urgent, emergent.
unknownYeah. And whatever does it.
Sensitivity, Creativity, And Prophetic Mixture
SPEAKER_05Whatever works for you, hey. Um there's also a drawing near. So did anybody get awakened in the middle of the night in the last week? Is that unusual for you? Is that normal? Yeah, normal. Okay, so when you're awakened in the middle of the night, that's God. If you if that's not normal, that's God giving you an upgrade. That's God saying, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh. He wants me. So let me let me see if I can get more time with him. Ooh, ooh, she she wants more of me. Let me let me see how I can get more time. So it's it's like us when we get busy, we get we get distant from our spouse. And distance is a heart thing, it's not always like where you are on the GPS. He wants your whole heart, all of it. That's why heaven's nothing like here. He's the center of heaven, and everything going on there is coming from him. There's a screen that makes glad the people, the city of our God. It comes from the throne room of the Lord, the God, the Father, the Lamb. Right? So here we're getting a shadow of that. And so he can't get our attention all the time, but he still is trying to figure out how he can get more. Because here's what he also knows is the more time you spend with him, the more free you're gonna be, the less fear you're gonna have, the healthier you're gonna be in your spirit life, soul life, and body life, the more productive you're going to be in expressing him to people that need to know him. He's at the center of all of it, and it's a romantic process. Who was raising their hand? I said something.
SPEAKER_11Yeah, I had something happened. Woke up uh I don't know, a couple nights ago, I guess, or three months ago or something. Sometime in the morning, and there was smelled. I've never smelled before. It was a real sweet aroma. Glory to God. And and and I smelled a beautiful aroma. I mean, I never smelled it. Uh but I just glory to God. Wherever I come from, but you know, but what time is it?
unknownI look crazy, but what time was it?
SPEAKER_11Do you remember early morning? I'll know probably two, three in the morning.
SPEAKER_05Amen. So he was there. So that's the cloud descending. So we all know God's everywhere, right? So God's everywhere, but yet he chooses to descend in certain places and be near certain people to reveal himself to those people, right? So he revealed himself to you in an uncommon way, and you've been marked by that. You're gonna always remember. You might not you might not have the smell now, but you'll never forget it. It was a gift, he gifted you with an encounter of his presence that marks you for life. Like, wow, I got to know him that way. Oh, see, here we go about knowing. You've got to know him by how he smells. It is pretty awesome. So, what are you thinking right now, guys? Where are we? How are we feeling about this? Worship, understanding God, knowing God. Well, I struggle. I want some feedback. Where's the mic? Let's pass the mic to whoever.
unknownTalk to me. It's okay.
SPEAKER_11Yeah, I struggle with, I struggle with something that's I don't know if I shouldn't have saying this, but it's something. It just I'm I mean, and I apologize a lot for this, but you know, it just I struggle with the uh reading.
SPEAKER_10With reading or reading, I struggle with it because it's just uh goes somewhere I'm not supposed to go, and I don't like it. So I apologize a lot of that and try to help you with that. Got any suggestions?
SPEAKER_05Well, it's actually where I was about to go, I think is gonna be very pertinent. No, it's kind of basically an affirmation because I wonder if this is where I need to go. So I mentioned this last week. Slow to speak queer to listen. Moses approaches the tent, and the Lord descends, and he talks with Moses as he was like face to face. Moses understood that he didn't need to approach God to Satan, he was approaching God just to be near God, and that he could count on God to come near. And the Bible says in other passages he would walk into the cloud. So he would be literally surrounded by this manifestation of God. Okay. How do I say this, Lord? In Job 37, it says, it talks, it's an amazing thing. It's this prophetic description of why God uses clouds. And it says he uses he uses the work of clouds like snow, rain, to correct and to heal or for the land is what it says. So there's healing, there is nutrition, there's nourishment in this cloud that is being talked about in Job 37. So when we talk about prayer, we don't need to talk about talking. We need to talk about being. Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46. Be still and know. There's that word know again. So the key to knowing is being still. Being setting aside time and just sitting down before you read is what I'm getting. And allowing the Spirit of God to come and you recognize He's there. You feel the peace, you begin to hear the whisper. Now we're gonna hear talk about that right now. Alright, so let's talk about the process of knowing God. How does that look? Because we have to talk practical. So we're starting with just approaching God. That's setting the time and finding a place. Here's my suggestion: make an altar in your home. I don't mean you got to set up rocks, I don't mean you need to have a picture of Jesus. I'm saying have a special location in your house that you use to sit with God. It could be a chair, it could be a closet, right? It could be laying before the couch in your living room. But what you're gonna notice is your heart expression of important of the importance of God by setting aside a place and a time is the literal fertilizer for the presence of God. It's your heart that he's seeing, it's not the couch. It's your heart that he's seeing, not the time of day. He's seeing your pursuit. Oh man. We will follow you, is what they say in Song of Solomon. Yes, give them my always.
SPEAKER_09My wife, you really want to be here tonight, her 91-year-old dad needed her. Okay. He's in a good place. But my prayer always for Tina is that the Lord would increase her desire to see Tina. Not that I'm anything special or righteous, but that my praise prayer. I don't get up at 4.30 every morning like she does, but I can look down the hall, and most mornings, down the hall, the door is almost shut, but there's a little light.
unknownAfter we saw Warren.
SPEAKER_09The Lord touched her, and she has a war, which is a small desk with a board in front of her. The word is there, requests everywhere. And I think what it's done for her.
SPEAKER_05Absolutely. The daughter of God sitting there.
SPEAKER_09Oh, that's good. And after we went, and after we went the last week, it was either Thursday or Friday night, and I usually don't wake up during it. I woke up with one of these, and it was a horrible I don't even remember what it was after that, but it bought her and used it after whatever. But and I knew what it was to be and turned it over and just gone.
unknownBut you can count on the mold to seek out and destroy those.
SPEAKER_05He's very, very, very, very um busy.
unknownHe's a tormented person.
Prayer As Meeting: Moses’ Tent Of Meeting
SPEAKER_05So let's talk about what low to speak, quick to listen, looks like. Okay. Your ear is in the center of your heart. So the ear we're talking about is not this. We're talking about an ear, your inner man, or your spirit is.
SPEAKER_06God is a spirit.
Morning Priority And God’s Name Revealed
SPEAKER_05God speaks spiritual language. God is a spirit. The inner ear to respond to whisper. God's not going to shout at you. He's going to be the quiet voice. Okay? So we have to train our ear to hear now. That's why we listen. Here's what happens when you listen. You start hearing your own heart. I don't know if you know this, but if you go into prayer, there's a lot of times a lot of anxieties, and you're going to hear all these competing thoughts about what's going on in your life, what's going on in your bank account, what's going on in your relationships, what's going on at work. I'm tired, I'm hungry. The last time I tried this, it didn't work. And so your natural mind is trying to command the time. But if you just lay there and wait, the Bible says, wait on the Lord. That's literal. Wait for him to descend and then become tangibly present, meaning you're recognizing he's there. In the midst of all the thoughts, you begin to give your mind over him over to him. So that's a sacrifice. Give him your mind. You have the mind of Christ, but you also have a natural mind, and so you've got to be able to surrender your mind to him, let him take it, and then let him speak into your inner ear, your heart, your soul. Why is this important? The soul is the center of all of these things that actually motivate your behavior, your motives, your passions, your direction, your cravings, your emotions, your thought process. Elisha was standing before the Syrian army as one man with his with his aid, and he was not afraid. And the aid was saying, How are we gonna deal with this? And Elisha prayed and said, Show him, Lord, open his eyes. And he saw the angel army surrounding. Elisha, through suffering, through isolation, through training in wilderness experiences, learned to trust his inner ear more than his natural man. He learned to see in the spirit, which is what we're about to do on excited for y'all. He learned to turn over his motives, turn over his passions, turn over his direction, turn over his cravings, turn over his emotions, and surrender his thought process to God. This is the soul, which is also the heart. God wants to get from your spirit to your heart. But before he can get from this spirit stuff to your heart, he's got to get through all of this. And these things right here will destroy a prophetic ministry. A prophet that's living in their motives and their passions and their direction and their cravings and their emotions and their thought process is going to be a become a false prophet. Quick. Oh, I need to get paid. Hey, um, so into this word. Anybody who wants a word from the Lord,$50. What's your passion? Is it God or is it money? Guess what? Money is a God. It's called mammon, it's a literal spirit. That's why it's capitalized. It's a spirit. The love of mammon is the root of all evil. Where mammon is, there's false security. Mammon pays my bills. Mammon feeds my kids. Mammon makes me important because I have a big 401k. I'm securing my retirement. It's the biggest, baddest American dream lie and it's demonic. I'm telling you, the American dream is demonic. You know what the Bible says? If you have food and clothing, you're blessed. That's why when we go to Kenya and the Dominican Republic and all these places where we think, oh, these people are living in poverty. No. The Bible says in Revelation, you think you are rich when you're poor. The Bible says those who are poor in spirit are the ones who see the kingdom of God. See, we have it all messed up in America. We think blessing looks like money. No. Money is the main temptation of people living for God and it's destroying people's ministry. Look at scripture and think about the most effective prophets. Did any of them, do you remember God talking about any of them having possessions? John the Baptist lived in a wilderness, y'all, and ate locusts and honey and wore fur on his body. Isaiah, I don't know what he, you know, Ezekiel bought some land. Isaiah was naked. Ezekiel was naked in a mud pit. In darkness. Daniel was in the lion's den. I mean, it's the it's the people who suffer, who hear God, because God takes this from them. He takes the motives away. You want to go into deep, you want to go deeper to prophecy, surrender everything. Don't be like the rich young ruler when God said, Oh, you want to be perfect? That means you want to be near me? You want to be known? Sell everything you have and give it to the poor. Then he couldn't do it. The Bible says he turned away and followed him no more because he could not give over his motives, his passion. So his soul and his spirit had a gap. You want to hear with your inner ear? Surrender these. The body is the first heaven. Body, soul, spirit. You're three people in one. You got a body, that's the shell, that's the earth part of you, that's what's made with dirt. Okay? Then you got the soul, the hidden part, that is lustful. The Bible says that the heart is deceitful above all things. All, all, all. Your heart is more powerful than the devil. Your heart is more powerful than the devil. That's why the Bible says you are enticed and led away by your lust. It's this. And the devil's been studying your border. He studied you before you were born. He learned your mama and your daddy and your break. And he tried to come at you even in the womb with those familiar spirits. We try to get your mom and then in the fight, we try to get your mom in there in the drug, we try to get your mom and then start doing the closer. We try to impact your spirit when you through the soul. But the land of the business, this is the demonic. The Bible says spirituality is devilish. That's in the scriptures. So for us to be people who want to walk in this prophetic thing, and we want to be the testimony and the expression of Jesus, it has to be intimacy with God, and in that intimacy, you're surrendering all of that. I think uh Pierce might have said it recently. Break my heart, what breaks yours? That kind of stuff. God, my praise, my emotions belong to you. What do you praise? What are your emotions? He does have them. Because guess what? Jesus has a soul. The mind of Christ. Right? Questions, thoughts, might join next to you. It's right there. Right? That's my middle name too. So I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_09Great, Gregory Michael. Greg, Greg Michael, not Gregory.
unknownGreat Michael. Ron didn't want Gregory.
SPEAKER_09And write from the Lord above all things, guard your heart. So that is the wellspring of life.
SPEAKER_05Keep your heart with all diligence, for how are the issues of life? Yeah. Everything you experience has to do with your heart. Job said, That which I feared most has come upon me. So Job was going through so God could deliver him of the fear of losing his children. Guess what he did? He killed him. He said, You're afraid to lose your children. You're doing all this worship because you think they they might have sinned. Remember that? It wasn't pure worship. He was doing it out of fear. God delivered him from that, of that, by speaking to him out of the whirlwind about his poverty. I am. Were you there when I did all these things? He said, I'm going to reveal to you another level of who I am. And I am so much bigger than that that you're afraid of. So I took them, I had your wife curse you, I gave you all these diseases, I put the things you feared into your life so that you can see that that's not the point of a life anyway. I am. That's the prophetic life. I'm just going to tell you now, you want to do this, you're going to suffer. You're going to carry a cross. Prophetic people have to suffer. Have to. Because if we get into this right here, we can destroy churches. Anybody heard of Jim Jones? That brother had a prophetic gift and he manipulated people with it. Who's ever read the story of Balaam in the Bible? Has that ever made you wonder what's this about? Because you discern the mixture. He hears God, talks to God, tells the person, I can't do anything except what God says, but then God tries to kill him. What's that about? Well, his motive was money. When Balax sent the people the second time with more money. That extra money didn't have just the money. When that money comes to the new production. You know all these witches are prophetic people. Many of these witches, they're literal witches. There's a store in the Castle called Black Cat. That thing has like a thousand reviews on Google. It's like hugely popular because all these kids, they want to be spiritual, but they don't understand it has to be Jesus. And so they're down in this stuff, and they're getting false peace from it because it makes them feel powerful. Because so many of them have daddy issues. And they want to feel affirmed in something. It's like a new game, basically. It's like blood decrypts. They just call it wicked. It's a different game, it's a different cult. And so there's this mixture of the spirit and the flesh, but the spirit's not holy. And it destroys people. Because this right here needs healing. And the only one who can heal it is the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit in your spirit. So when we get saved, we know Holy Spirit comes in. But does everything change? You want to get delivered from some stuff, but not everything, because the things that you're not ready yet to surrender, you can't be delivered from. They're still in there. Your passion for that thing or that feeling or that um habit is not yet surrendered. And so he progressively sets us free when we're ready to give over our direction in a certain thing. Many of the plans of a man's heart, but God. Now it doesn't say and God directs this, doesn't say, but that means that you might have all kinds of plans, but you've got to remember it's got to be about him. So let's do an exercise real quick. We're going to test our ear to hear our inner heart by the Spirit.
unknownOkay?
SPEAKER_05Who's got something to write with? Whatever you have, you can type it or whatever. Here's what we're going to do. Alright? How do I want to do this for it? Yeah. I'm going to turn on the instrumental music again. We're going to take like maybe two, maybe three minutes. And I'm just going to ask you to open your eyes. I mean, not open, close your eyes. And when you close your eyes, you're just going to wait to see something. But you're not going into this just to see. You're going into this to meet with him. Make about him. Say, here I am, Lord. Here I am. Show me what's on your heart, what's on your mind. Okay? So let me turn on this music, and we're going to listen for a while, and we're going to see what happens.
unknownDiana. Diana. Diana. Okay.
SPEAKER_05Let's see what Diana's off. Can't wait.
unknownCannot wait.
SPEAKER_03Um. Do you know what you're doing is right? Mm-hmm.
unknownI sound the same out to me.
SPEAKER_05It's mainly from you. It's not amplification that much, but yes.
SPEAKER_03Okay, so it almost feels make not feels make-leak, but it was like. I would think that it's makey-leak because of wait, alright. I asked her, I said, kind of show me all that. Like, because when I tell y'all what I saw, you're gonna see like it was such a good question to ask how why did you show me all that? And God was like, because I knew you needed it. And I was like, I thought, thank you so much, God. And it's like, did I make this? I didn't make it up, obviously, but it's like, it just seems like too perfect because but it is what I'm going through, and I have been close to God, and so it's like it was also a little like you deserve it, like you should know this, like, because look at you in your face with this. So, like, that was on my heart big, you know. But I could literally like whatever. Okay, so first thing, as soon as I close my eyes and I said, God, show me, you know, whatever you want to show me. It was literally, it was my youngest sister who's like battling with so much like addiction, she's about to be homeless, like all these things. Like, I literally saw her outside playing with my nephew. He's a little bit older. And it kind of felt like it was her going in a space where she just kind of got him back or something, you know. Like, so there might be a time where she she does fall off, and maybe he has to go somewhere else for a while. Maybe that's they're back together in like playing outside, I think that there's a baseball somewhere in there, like it just felt like it was a like maybe he had a baseball t-shirt on.
SPEAKER_06Glory to God.
SPEAKER_03Then God showed me, reminded me that I saw my sister on the stage, but I was holding her. I think it was her daughter. I think she had a daughter. I was holding her daughter, sitting in the normal spot where I usually try to sit where the Pierce Ministry girls sit. And then this is why I'm like, God, why don't you show me all of this? Because it showed me my daddy, kind of like a little chunk here. That means that he's not on drugs no more. Putting the baby into, I don't know whose baby it was, I don't know which one of us had a baby, but I think it was my middle sister Krista, I think it was Herman, putting the baby into, and I got scared for a second because the baby was going into something that was like a box type. And I got scared the car was showing me, gosh, it was the hospital car. Because the baby started, my sister's fire, and my dad is fired. And all of them have been battling the pictures for so long. And we lost my mom last year in April. Finished such a lot of changes. So then I was like, how did you show me all that? Because I like I don't know, I've just been out here chilling, doing whatever it is that you want of me and whatever it was. It was just like that was what he laid on me. Like, you've been really like, you've been really doing your thing, and I'm really proud of you, so I want to kill this. And then when I said thank you, it was I love you in return. And then it was just so crazy, like, but there's a way I couldn't fail because why would I cry so much? Why would I have to cry when my eyes were closed? The way that I'm crying is not I'm sad, it's like I could feel it. And it's the only way I can express the emotion or the the feeling, really, the feeling. And then uh I'm shaking and talking, and I ain't never shook when speaking. I ain't never shook when when crying. I think I shook when I was talking about my mom dying, but that was so real. Like this this stuff, this obviously is too. And like I really can see all of it be okay. So long. I love it. And and see the tears just stop like that because I've done that. That is what's crazy because I go through this thing, and my mom always said to me, She was like, Oh, you're doing that thing, that's how I know what's going on is real. Like, whatever you're saying is real because my face will switch up, my nose will burn, and tears will come out my eyes, or they'll almost come out of my eyes, and I can't control the face. And she's like, Oh, I know what's going on is real because you're doing that thing that you do, and then it just stops, it goes away like it never. I just says, boom, I'm right back to right regularly.
SPEAKER_05He showed you his heart. And then he downloaded his emotions. He used you to carry a burden. Just a portion of who he is in the earth. He took what's in the spirit and he touched you with it. And he started with what you saw. Who else has something? While we wait on the next volunteer, I'll say this. When we receive, we also can ask him more questions. One of them can be, what do you want me to do with this? And it's a personal question. And he might want you to labor and pray for what he shows you. Here's where some prophetic people get it wrong. Everything you see is not going to happen. Some things you see is what he wants to happen. He needs someone to stand in the gap.
SPEAKER_00Who else? Who else saw something?
SPEAKER_01I heard I heard it was tough. I heard it's hard. He was speaking. And he said, this is part of the plan I have here. Now it makes sense to you of all you've been for. I purpose you to be here. This is the new thing that I directed you into. This is the Isaiah 43 that I've been showing you over and over and over again. This is the time and the spirit of transformation. And I did see one thing I saw. Everybody needed going through a spirit of transformation. Because our hearts are cloud and our hearts are raining.
SPEAKER_00This is the Isaiah 33. This is the one else wanna share?
SPEAKER_05Anybody else has something they saw?
SPEAKER_07I feel like you just kind of share this. I'm looking at my friend.
unknownOh my god.
SPEAKER_08So that's anyways.
Seeing In The Spirit: Guided Exercise
SPEAKER_07There was a cloud that's in this room. There's a cloud up here, like a white cloud. And in some in some parts it's filling the room, and in some parts is just covered. It's just covering the room. And uh Jesus is right there in the middle. He's right here in the middle of the room, like right underneath that projector. Like literally, his presence is right there in under that projector. It's just floating. And then I see there are people in here that are burning right now. They're burning, there's a fire coming off of it. And there's others that I can't see when I close my eyes. But whenever I close my eyes, I can see who is burning in the room. And then I can see who's cold. There's only two. There's only two things that I see. There's fire and then like a water kind of coldness. But the most important thing that I see was Jesus was his presence right there. And he said what he's saying right now tonight is that you can leave your own fire tonight. You can leave your burning on fire for God. To where everything you touch and everything that you come in contact will begin to burn. For Him.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I I I keep afraid of that. Um This is prophecy. You go to him and say, What's on your heart? What's on your heart? So I know what you are.
SPEAKER_08He shares with his friends.
SPEAKER_05Jesus said, I'm no longer calling service calling friends, and he said, friends are the ones you tell what you're doing.
SPEAKER_06There are measures of intimacy.
SPEAKER_05And you can trust what you see when it comes from a heart of pursuing him. That's the foundation. It has to be the testimony of Jesus. That's the purity. It's his heart and not ours. It requires a boldness to step out and trust what you saw and what you deserve. Now let me add one thing. When you're processing what you saw, what you heard, and you're writing it, ask him to show you the scripture. Ask him to show you on scripture. Now, can I tell you what I do? It might help somebody. We're supposed to have it memorized already, and God's just gonna give it to us.
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_05We want you to search it out. You take the time to search it out. There's measures of completeness of the word. So everything we just heard has more to it. Show me in the verses, God. Now here's what you can do: you can literally take your digital Bible. I love being in the digital age, and ask the Lord, what words should I search that will take me to that verse? So this is literally what happened with me. I'm back there and I saw the Lord with a sickle cutting bundles of wheat that had already been bundled and cutting them and gathering them. And I'm like, wow, that's cool. I mean, the wheat was golden, beautiful wheat, like it was almost glowing. And so I started assuming, well, oh, okay, this is you being the Lord of the harvest. And it is, but then I said, Well, Lord, take me to it in scripture. And I didn't get a verse, but I heard a word. I heard in my inner inner ear, in my heart, I heard a word, and the word was bundle. So I just searched the word bundle in the New King James, and I got uh listen to this, this is really cool. 1 Samuel 25 and verse 29. It says, uh yet a man is risen to pursue you and seek your life. Well, this is this part. But the life of my Lord shall be bound in the bundle of the living with the Lord your God.
unknownListen to this. The life of the Lord shall be bound in the bundle of the living.
SPEAKER_05So those whom he's gathering are the ones who have the life of the Lord. And he calls us the bundle of the living, the life that comes from we're the ones who are live in Christ. And there's so much to you can pursue there. There's more searching, right? There's more, what does that mean? Life in the Lord, the life of the Lord.
SPEAKER_08And then this other verse came up, and it was uh finding it.
SPEAKER_05He must not want me to find it, that's okay. But the point is, the written word is married to the prophetic word. The prophetic word has to express the personality, the heart of Jesus that's already found in scripture. If you see something and you're struggling to find it in the scriptures, that means wait. That means sift more, that means process more. I'll come to you later. Process it more. He's hiding something that he wants you to discover. There are secrets and treasures that only happen, only occur to you, only come to you by pursuing. Why? Because it's him getting you to spend time with them. That's literally the point. He so wants you to spend time with him that he hides himself. That's a song of song. If you read Song Song, that's happening in the whole book. She's looking, she wakes up in the middle of the night, she can't find him. She goes to the streets literary to watch me to the city. Have you seen my love? There's this game. It's a fun game. But he's he's helping us grow in our pursuit of him. Because if we don't have him, we don't have life. So he's trying to help our flesh, which wants to be lazy. Our flesh wants to just go through the motion. But we have to submit our flesh to the spirit. So he hides things and he causes us to have to work past our comfort to pursue something spiritual. Okay? Go for it. Well, just since we're gonna have to wrap it up here soon.
SPEAKER_03Well, okay, thank you. I just wanted to share the scripture that it can't, especially after you said it, the like the scripture shouldn't match up with the prophecy. Okay, because I immediately like wrote down when you asked when you said it to ask God to take us to a scripture. I wrote that to you down and I thought about it, and then the word that came to me was kingdom. And then so I just had to say kingdom, and I was just reading them and like I had feeling peace when I read, your kingdom come and will be done on earth as it is in heaven. But then, but as I was like too many, too many things came, it was like it almost came too much at the same time that I was writing. But I heard Psalms. Like how was I gonna make that out? So the next one right after that was Psalms 145.13. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. So the Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.
Processing Words With Scripture
SPEAKER_05And you saw generations in the world. So you trust his faithfulness in yeah, that's good. So now, now guess what I have when I have the word? I have ammunition. When you're doing prophetic ministry to him, the ministry to him, he's impregnating you with the word. And so there's trimesters, there's there's there's seasons of recurring the word until it's ready to be released into the earth. And you'll know because what happens when a woman's pregnant, I've never been pregnant, but I've watched it. They want to, they want that baby out so bad that they're like walking, they're trying to eat hot food, they're sitting, they're standing up, they're squatting, they're trying to figure out how do I get this labor to start coming. But it's a certain then the baby comes forth. I think the reason why miscarriages are so much more common in our age is because prophetically, our culture is so not willing to wait on God. I think it's a prophetic sign. I literally do. So I'm gonna wrap this up and we're gonna pray into what my brother here. Is it Paul? What'd you think about? Paul. Paul. What Paul was thinking about the torches on fire. So let's pray into that. Oh God, you are here. We trust you even though we might not feel it. Those soulish emotions that try to make us make sense of things, make sense. Our natural senses try to help us make natural sense of things. But Lord, you give us vision into the spirit realm, you give us cinematic understanding of your heart and your direction and your passion. And I believe my brother was in line with your heart, and he saw the burning and the invitation for all of us to burn, which is an image of something dead on the altar. Something dead, something that's been cut, fillet, laid on the wood on the cross, and set up blazed by something that we can't hold. Something that seems fleeting but has so much power. The fire. God, I pray that we're not chasing any kind of spiritual exercise or spiritual intensity. No, no, no, no, no, no. This is us dying to you. This is us taking our soul and putting it on the altar. Not just our body, our soul. God, deliver me from my emotions. Deliver me from my cravings, my passions, my preferences. Lord, replace them with the mind of Christ. I burn because I'm putting myself on the altar. I want to be near you. I don't want to be full of spiritual fat. Burn the fat. And may the burning of my life be a sweet smelling aroma that pleases you, God. Make my devotion be to please the Lord. Oh my God. Oh, that's a word for somebody in here. May my devotion be to please the Lord, to make you smile. To leave the crowd, to leave the norm, the easy stuff, the comfortable. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. There's life. The life of the Lord is what I want. Shake it out of the walk. I want the life of the Lord. I want the testimony of Jesus in my world. I want to know what you're saying. I want to know how you're thinking. I want that to be me. So tonight we're surrendering it just in your heart, just begin to surrender that thing that he's bringing to mind. Some of us are surrendering our musical preference and tastes because our ear has been perverted, our hearing has been dull because we've been allowing that gate to invite things that impact your influence. Guard our gates, God, but first I pray that we allow you to cleanse them. Oh Lord, we're not trying to be anything but near you. What is standing in the way of me getting closer? What is standing in the way of me going deeper? Greater, deeper measures of knowing you and being known. Let all of us boast in this that we understand and know you. That you're a God of loving kindness and justice and righteousness, and in these things you delight. Wow. I command your spirit to command your soul. I command your soul to relinquish control. I command your thinking to align with him. We want to know you. Hallelujah. These exercises, God, make them more and more and more precise and sharp. Help us to process your voice. What is it you're saying that you're that I haven't heard yet? You've invited me to see what you're doing in my family, in the generations. You're inviting me to see what you're doing in this church with burning ones. You're inviting me to see what's going on in Isaiah 43. There's more. So now I have an assignment to pour out my life to delve into what you're showing. I want the whole word. For those who didn't make it tonight, God, I pray in the name of Jesus that nothing kept them from being here. That they are not waning. We pray all that our welcome here will be here. And God, I pray that the fire of God on the altar will fall on us. As we leave here, Lord Jesus, I pray that we will pray for more boldness. That we won't falter or shirk back because you are not slack concerning your promises. We can open up ourselves and hear this is the safe place. This is where we need to be seen. This is not the cave. Yes, Lord. I pray the grace of God over each and every one of us. I pray it abounds toward us that we might be insufficient. I abound in the work of the Lord. You are the all sufficient one. You are those of us who I've prayed the prayer, Lord, I'm willing to suffer, God. I know you're going to answer that in this year of contending and on the altar. Help us to do war until the end.
SPEAKER_06And help us to learn more and more what it means that our treasure is in heaven.
SPEAKER_05You are our treasure. I praise you for this time together. I command the blessing of the Lord over our households that when we return, there's peace. I pray for angelic visitations and dreams and visions that reveal the season we're in in our formation, giving us greater understanding as to what you're doing in us right now. Help us to clarify your voice in this season. I love you. We love you. Meet us more and more here. May the cloud thicken. Wow. Saturation is what we pray for. And I hear the Lord's saying to pray for this. May the testimony of Jesus that is the Spirit of prophecy be pure and authentic in this fellowship, trying to church. May we fear you in such a healthy way that we won't step out and do something because we want to. Or because we want to be seen. Or want to feel important. No, no, no, no, no. We just want to be part of what you're doing. May the Lord bless you and keep you. Put your hands in the air or whatever you feel comfortable doing. Just ignore the Lord with this blessing upon you. May the Lord bless you and keep you. Make his face shine upon you. Be gracious to you. And yes, may He lift his countenance upon you and give you the shalom peace. This is the blessing on you tonight in the name of Jesus. And all God's people in agreement said together. Amen. Feeling the peace of the Lord. And do me a favor. Next week, when we come together, when you walk into this room, walk into this room to discern to listen.
Burning Ones: Corporate Prayer And Blessing
SPEAKER_06Yes, I hear that so clearly. You walk in here to listen and discern.
SPEAKER_05Amen? Amen. God bless you. I love you. If you
