Defeating Jezebel | PART ONE

A disturbing pattern keeps repeating in churches and homes: what starts as subtle pride can grow into secrecy, sensual compromise, and a hunger for control. We’re sharing what’s been pressing on our hearts from a retreat center in North Carolina, because we believe many people are sensing the same thing and don’t have language for it yet. This is about the Jezebel spirit not as a buzzword, but as a real spiritual warfare dynamic that Scripture shows can corrupt leadership, twist worship, and wound families. 

We talk about how God speaks and why a hard heart can block the very help God is sending. Yes, we honor the Bible, and we also make room for the manifold ways God communicates, including dreams. Why This Warning Matters Now

Hey, I'm joining you from St. Francis Prayer and Retreat Center in Rockingham County, North Carolina. And there's much pressing on my heart, and I'm coming to realize how long the Spirit of God has been talking to me about this. And so it's now time for me to begin to unveil it for your protection, for your warning, for your guidance, for your encouragement, and for some of us for your healing. And this has everything to do with the spirit that is called Jezebel in the book of 1st and 2 Kings. And it is a spirit that is seen throughout the Bible. It is not just in that portion. Of course, Jesus speaks of it specifically in Revelation, but we're going to talk very voluminously about this scheme of the evil one because the warfare has been great. And frankly, there have been a lot of casualties. A lot of families. Some of you are probably watching this wondering if this is happening in your house. Somebody's probably watching this wondering if this is happening in their church. And I feel the Lord wanted me to mention this. I've had this happen twice in the last, I think, two weeks, where people the Lord has sent me to have denied the word of the Lord. They have just had a hard heart toward receiving anything. They did not want to talk, they did not want to meet. And there is incredible grace released with the word of God. And so what we want to do is we try to, we try to put God in this box of, He's going to only speak to me through Scripture. Well, I'm sorry, you're missing out because the Lord speaks in nature, he speaks through people primarily in your life. And of course, he will speak through scripture. But the goal is to always get the word of the Lord. That means the word that is precise. It is Rhema. It is for this moment, this season, for the situation you're facing. And it brings with it breakthrough. It brings with it very clear instruction, wisdom, understanding for what you're going through in your life. Whether you might want to define that as good or bad. Jezebel is in my spirit. And I'm not afraid of this spirit. I hope you are not. In fact, one of the great ways to combat it is to confront it by standing, taking a stand. We're going to get into that. I want to just preface this by saying I'm going to make this one as short as I can because I probably have maybe five, six, seven, eight, maybe nine installments I'm going to record to put these

Prayer For Breakthrough And Protection

in little pieces so that you can abide in the word of the Lord. You can meditate. You can allow the Lord to really minister in chunks. All right. So let us pray and let's dig into this. Father, in Jesus' name, you are here with us, where two or three are gathered in your name. You're in the midst. And so whoever's watching or listening makes two humans and you're there. You're not there. You're not here just to observe, you're here to be involved. I pray now that you command my vocal cords. You command my thinking and my consciousness. Command my heart. May I be synced, syncopated in the symphonic beauty of your harmonious message of love to us, your people, right now, and bring great grace for breakthrough. Chains will be broken through these teachings in Jesus' name. Amen. I

How God Speaks Beyond Scripture

really believe that for you. So, as you probably know, if you follow this ministry for any amount of time, the Lord speaks to me a lot in dreams, which is another example of how we don't want to have a hard heart toward God, because he speaks in manifold ways. He has manifold wisdom. The Bible says, Oh, how great the depths of the wisdom and the knowledge of God, how unsearchable are his judgments and his ways past finding out. That means he's so deep, so wide, so layered, we'll never get it all. And so it behooves us to try to get as much as we can. Drink deeply, is what the scriptures tell us. So I'm going to start with a dream that I had in January of 2025. And for those of you who are engaged in prophetic ministry, I want to encourage you. The Lord does not waste anything. You might have wonder and questions and curiosities about things the Lord has shown you in dreams or visions. They have an appointed time. The Bible says, wait for the word. Wait for it. So write it, record it, and then wait for it to come to pass. So in January 2025, this is what I literally wrote in my notes that I had had a portion of

A Prophetic Dream About A Pastor

this dream two times. When something is said more than once, the Lord is emphasizing it. It is not a maybe, it is going to happen. So I don't know if you know this. Much prophecy has to do with faith. So we have to apply our faith to it and it comes to pass. Because God can give you some word, but if you're a hearer only, it won't come to pass. The Bible says double-minded people can't expect anything from the Lord. So if you're not single-minded, or if you don't have, as the Bible says, uh your eye focused, amen. Then you can miss the manifestation of what God has for you. But when he says something twice, the Bible says, God has spoken once, twice have I heard this. Power belongs to God. What that means is God will speak to you, and then he'll say it again to make sure you hear him. And then that is when you relinquish control and say, It's yours, God, it's your power. You are in control. This thing is happening, and I won't wrestle with it. So I don't want you to wrestle with this. This is happening. So I had this dream or a portion of it twice. And so I asked the Lord to show me what I missed on the first night. In that portion, I was watching as a watchman. The watchman anointing is one who is aware and awake on behalf of others who might not be aware or awake or informed. And I saw a pastor I know in this dream. He was in a limousine that represents the corruption of wealth in this particular dream. So here is a pastor who is focused on money, resources, material things. He was sitting between several women in this limousine. Limousines also have tinted windows, they're secret. You see limos driving down the street, the stretch hummer, the stretch uh limo, and you're wondering what's going on, but you can't see. And this pastor was very prideful, full of pride, and he began to speak, even spout off at the mouth with great pride. And this is what he said two words. Sexy pastor. He says, I'm a sexy pastor. And it became a song. He was singing this song, and it became almost like a music video. And I realized this was being broadcast into my home, and my kids were seeing it. I'm going to stop there.

Defilement Disguised As Spirituality

So this is a metaphor, but it talks very specifically about the impact. So there are pastors full of pride who are caught up in material wealth, material things. They're fleshly, they're corrupt, they're carnal, and they're sensual. Sexy is speaking to the sensuality. So the Bible says that things that are sensual are also devilish. So you want to have your senses activated in the spirit, but in the flesh, uh, Paul says, in my flesh is no good thing. There's nothing good there. You're only good because of what Jesus has done. You're only good by what has happened in the supernatural, by his blood. And so this pastor's missed it. And there are many that are like this. I'm going to get into that shortly. But the impact. So what was happening in this pastor's private life was not just impacting him. And that's an encouragement to those of us who pray for our pastor, or if you are a pastor, what you do in the dark is not just impacting you. Others are going to pick it up in the spirit. Others are going to see it. Others are going to be influenced by it, whether you know it or not. And in this case, it was specific to my children. So the next generation. So these things, as you know, could be familiar spirits that carry on through generations because the example's been set by people that are influential. And so then the next generation picks it up and carries it into their generation, and so on, until the chain is broken, or the curse is broken, or the cycle is broken. So my kids were watching this perversity, and suddenly a young lady near this pastor began to get on her knees and between his legs. And then she performed something on him, and the camera veered, and it and just like an inappropriate video, it showed this pastor in his private area. And as she was doing this, she was obviously someone who had not done it before. And this talks about the perversity that defiles. This young lady was a virgin, more than likely. And because this pastor was in pride and sensual, he was defiling this young lady. And she thought she was doing something that was pleasing. And this is how Jezebel works. It subtly gets into the church and tries to convince you that by being sensual, you're actually being spiritual. I can show this to you in scripture, probably not today, but I will show it to you. So she was obviously a novice. She's been defiled. In this environment, in this religious mixture had now intoxicated her. And she was doing this act for the very first time on her pastor, and he did not refuse her. He in

Jezebel As An Ideology Of Control

fact relished in this two things: dominance and control. So the Jezebel spirit makes people want power, dominance, and control specifically. This is happening in Russia. The Lord has shown me this Jezebel spirit that is in the office with Vladimir Putin. I've seen this demonic spirit. It's happening in pastors' offices. It's happening in the church. It's happening in our homes. It's happening where we see a lot of men fall. The Jezebel spirit has subtly gotten in. And let me just say this before I go any further. The Jezebel spirit starts with an ideology. It's an idea. The idea that I, me, I'm the center of worship. I'm the center of someone's affection. And there's a covenant there between Jezebel and the host, the carrier, or the one in agreement. It is a covenant. So this particular pastor who was in covenant with the Spirit was relishing dominance and control and his dominion, his reign over this young lady and his church. Now, can you see why God absolutely hates this demonic scheme? Because he sees his servants that are supposed to be owned by him. Remember, the Levites didn't even have a physical inheritance. They only had him. They didn't have land. They were allowed to live in the other tribes' areas and have particular homes built, but they didn't own land because the idea of a pastor is to be an under-shepherd, basically to be a Christ to people, a servant, not to rule and dominate over them. This is why the Pharisees and the Sadducees had such an issue with Jesus, and vice versa, is they were seeking to reign instead of serve. And he says, the greatest among you must be each other's servant. So this pastor and those who have been infected by the Spirit relish their dominion and their reign over women and the church. Now, not just women, some of these people are homosexual. Some pastors are women and they they they enjoy the reign over men. They get intoxicated by this mixture of religion and sensuality. So we have a defiled young lady, we have a dominating man, and the center of it is the spirit of Jezebel, who introduced an ideology. And our pride and our lust gives this ideology authority. He had reigned over this young lady and his church, not God's church, his church. This pastor started to think the church is his. And that is what I saw on the first

The Cost To Families And Children

night. And then I saw and turned and looked at my children as they were witnessing the church and this church leader being exposed and corruption, corrupted. This literally just happened in my community. My kids have witnessed a pastor that I know caught up in something. I don't know what really happened. But the fact is, the report is there has been corruption. And so the Lord was even broadcasting to me what was going to happen in real life in my own home. So my children were witnessing the church and the church leader being exposed and corrupted sexually. Dignity was being corrupted. Value were being corrupted, the value of God's church and his people. I spoke to my children about this wickedness that I did not expect for them to be exposed to, because I did not expect them to be exposed to such wickedness by the church.

Closing Prayer And Next Installment

I'm going to stop here and we're going to pray. This is going to be the introduction to this series about Jezebel. I want you to understand something. Every human being has a heart that is deceitful and desperately wicked, and we cannot know it. The only way to live this life is by dying daily. The only way to live this life is to take up your cross daily and follow Jesus. There is a there's an acquaintance with grief. There is a sorrow. You have to be a person of sorrow. You have to be a person who is, as Paul said, uh, content no matter what state you're in, because your contentment doesn't come from circumstances, it comes from him. You're falling more and more in love with Jesus, you're renewing your vows daily, you are with him, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, till you die and reign with him. And so this teaching, as all teachings, is meant for you to turn away from anything that is a false beauty, oh my God, and to fall in love with Jesus. This is going to be my prayer as we close. Father, in Jesus' name, thank you for exposing the wickedness of Jezebel. Being reminded now that you spoke to me at the beginning of this calendar year saying that Jezebel was going to be exposed in the church, God Almighty, in this year of the altar. Jezebel comes to defile altars. We are your altar. Just like this young lady in the dream, God. Jezebel seeks to defile us so that we bow and serve and please someone other than Jesus. God, teach us where we are to truly be sensitized. And I pray we have no room, no availability to this demonic spirit. Make our hearts, our hearts hard against Jezebel, not you. In the name of Jesus, amen. I want you to join me in praying for the body of Christ, joining me in praying for your family and your household. That is what I've been doing all day.
