Flattery sounds like honor until you notice where it’s trying to take you. We dig into Proverbs 2 and use it as a spiritual lens to expose Jezebel style patterns that show up as manipulation, sensual seduction, and control, especially in church leadership and close relationships. The goal is not paranoia or people-hunting. It’s discernment that protects purity, restores healthy authority, and keeps us aligned with the fear of the Lord.

We talk about why many people don’t realize they’re under influence, how secret-sharing and time-consuming “meetings” can become emotional adultery, and why covenant matters so much when you’re judging fruit. We also wrestle with a hard warning from the text: her house leads down to death. Not just dramatic failure, but spiritual death that slowly drains worship, joy, and boldness until a church starts living to please people instead of God.

From there, we focus on control as a core thread, tracing it through biblical patterns like Moses leaving Pharaoh’s house and Elijah being sent into hiding by the brook. Sometimes what feels like delay is actually protection. We close by challenging false prophecy and confusion in the information age, naming the danger of voices that “redefine” what God already established, and we end in prayer for covering under God’s shadow.

If this helped you, subscribe, share it with someone who needs clarity, and leave a review so more people can find these teachings. What warning sign stood out to you most?

Taking Authority Over Jezebel

SPEAKER_00

Here we are again with an installment of our series focusing on defeating Jezebel. Defeating Jezebel. Putting our foot on the neck of this thing. The Bible says that the enemy should bruise our heel. That's the force by which we should be taking authority. Jesus says, I've given you the power to tread over serpents and scorpions and over all power of the enemy, all power, so that nothing will harm you. That's a corporate word that we are meant to pray so none of us get harmed. Oh my God, I pray that as you are digging into this know-how that we're gaining about Jezebel, that you're beginning to pray for your church, you're beginning to pray for your city where you're seeing this thing infiltrate even the circles of your family. Politics, government, schools are being infected by this spirit. This thing is such a dominatrix. It wants to submit people beneath a harmful, injurious, wounding type of authority. And it's not for you. Amen.

Reading Jezebel Through Proverbs 2

SPEAKER_00

So today I'm going to preface what's going to turn out to be a list of elements about Jezebel that the Lord has shown me. I'm writing a book about it, 50 Revelations of Jezebel. That's the working title. But I'm going to start today with this Proverbs 2. So I pray that as you go through the scriptures, you begin to see Jezebel in other places, not just where her name is Jezebel. Okay. I want you to see her in the Old Testament, in the New Testament. How the perversion offends God. Yeah, so let's get into it. Proverbs 2, 16 through 19. This is where we see Jezebel in Proverbs, in at least one portion of Proverbs. To deliver you from the immoral woman. That's Jezebel. Okay, so you're reading this most of the time. You're thinking about, you know, a woman who might be wayward or something. Okay, yeah. But there's levels and layers of revelation. Let's look at this from the demonic realm. Let's look into the spirit realm. What is God revealing about the spirit realm? Just like unclean animals are a lens into the spirit realm, the demonic spirit realm, this is a lens giving us access and understanding and illustration, illumination on what's going on in the spirit and the demonic realm with regard to Jezebel.

Flattery Seduction And Hidden Motives

SPEAKER_00

To deliver you from the immoral woman, or to deliver you from Jezebel, from the seductress who flatters with her words. So here's what we're picking up on the personality of a Jezebel. This is a person who's going to have some charisma. They're going to flatter, they're going to be a person that seems to honor, they're going to be a person who's doing so, but their motivation is not pure. Now, here's the thing: this is not always conscious. So a person who's under the influence of any spirit, you know this. They don't always know that they are. Now, someone who's a satanic worshiper or a witch, they know what they're doing. They are purposely delving in darkness. Someone that's dealing with divination and they're reading manuals about it, or they're learning the names of demons and they're praying in these demons' names, these are people who are conscious. Most people don't know they're under the influence of a spirit of addiction, right? They don't know that they're under the influence of a spirit of pride. The long and the short of it is we can't look at this and when we come into experiencing it, begin to judge a person because they probably don't know that Jezebel is influencing their hearing. But here's what we know: Jezebel is immoral. That means anything that has to do with integrity or righteousness, she's not about it. She's a seductress, which means she's a manipulator. She's going to use her body, she's going to use her words. That's one part of her body. She's going to use sensuality, sexuality, might even be that person who is dealing with this spirit in such a measure that they've given over their body to pleasure, no matter with who. And this person will try to influence the body of Christ. They'll try to influence you. And I want to warn some men, this could be your wife. See, and you gotta be doing this under counsel because you can't watch a video and say, oh, well, this is everything is about me. Well, some of it could be, but you need to be having a pastor conversation about some of this stuff. Submit it. Um,

Covenant Breaking And Refusing Correction

SPEAKER_00

so continuing on about what she's about, who forsakes the companion of her youth. This is a person who their first love should be Jesus, but it's not. How do you know? You know a person sold out for Jesus when you see what they're willing to sacrifice. If they're really all show, but you don't see, they're not tithing, they're not serving, they're not willing to be silent, they're not willing to play the background, they want meetings all the time. They will be a time waster. And I'm gonna tell you what that means. It's a person that just wants your time because they want to have influence. They might not know why they want to meet with you. And this is how some of these illicit um relationships happen in churches is this person wants to meet with anybody that has influence, and they don't even always know why. But once these meetings happen, there's really nothing to talk about. And so we're getting to know each other, we're starting to share each other's secrets and confide in each other, and so now we have a little bit of a adulterous communication and emotional adulteries going on, and then it turns physical. Jezebel comes to tear it all down, and this is where it starts. It says, Who forsakes the companion of her youth and forgets the covenant of her God? Jezebel does not honor any covenant with the Lord. They will complain, they will fight, they will point fingers, they will not be accountable. I saw someone tweet this. It was uh prophet Tommy Oriami, and when I saw it, it hit me like a brick. It said, Jezebel cannot be corrected. Man, when I tell you something, Jehu had to kill Jezebel. God says Jezebel can repent. A person who is housing, agreeing with, and in covenant with Jezebel can repent, but a lot of times they don't. They are in covenant in such a powerful way with the spirit that they do not appreciate the covenant with God. That means they don't have the fear of the Lord. This is a very good way to determine if a person is in the will of God or not. Not even just Jezebel connected. Do they have the fear of the Lord? Do they fear the consequences of not changing? The Bible says a person doesn't have the fear of the Lord does not change. So that's how we judge fruit. Is the person able to change? I'm not saying that they all of a sudden all their behavior changes, but their mind changes. They begin to ascend to the truth in the scriptures or the truth that's being taught to them that is scriptural, that the Holy Spirit is actually the one who's reminding them of what Jesus has said and is truly leading them.

When Her Influence Brings Spiritual Death

SPEAKER_00

Jezebel is the one in verse 18 where it says, For her house leads down to death. This thing comes to tear it all down, and her paths to the dead. None who go to her return, nor do they regain the path of life. This is where that hedge is important. So I talked about in the last uh teaching about how I saw Jezebel lurking around the church. And this was the church global, not a specific church. And how the church was white, and how Jezebel seeks a way to breach that purity and come in and infect like cancer. Why? Because her cancer brings death to the things of God. She brings death to God's people. What are we talking about? Spiritual death. We're talking about people who will not have a vibrant life with Christ anymore. We're talking about people you go into the church and nobody's singing, no hands are being raised. Why? Because a church mother generations ago was so loud, so debatable, so contentious with her husband that the pastor didn't feel free to be undignified like David. And so over time, this pastor loses their love for God because they're trying to please their wife. That's just that's just an example. It's unacceptable. You cannot make your wife your God. Now, you cannot make the first lady of the church your God either. And this is happening all over the body. The role of a pastor's wife is to be the pastor's wife, to support, partner with, express uh another um texture of God in that ministry. It is not meant to be the leader. They are to teach the younger women, absolutely, by example, uh, by more practical and conscious ways as well. But we can't replace God and his order. I'm gonna say that again. We cannot replace God and his order. God has to be the Lord. It's the fear of the Lord. I have fear of him when I recognize his lordship, his authority, his power, his sovereignty. He cannot be usurped, he cannot be told what to do. Yes, Lord. Amen. Paul says we're slaves, right? Underrowers. We don't need to be seen. I'm just here to be in it because God's in it. I'm just happy to be part of it. I don't need to have my name on the on a plaque. I don't need to have my name on the Bible. These things are happening. And people are okay with it because they don't desire purity, they desire man's affection, man's praise. Jezebel is involved in that. So after I read this about how Jezebel's coming to tear it all down, none who go to her return, nor do they regain the path of life. I mean, this is where people basically have chosen, as it says, to go down her path to her house, to reside, to be what? In the house of Jezebel, to be in connection with, in familiarity with her, for this spirit to be so familiar that it's part and parcel of how I see religion, how I see my walk with God, I can't see it without this perversion of control, domination. Authority can be anything, uh, not just God, not just scripture, not just the Holy Spirit. But how about this? What about this? All the debates, all the fights and the contentions. And so if we keep going down that path, you become spiritually dead. And you need the prophecy, the breath of God, the word of the Lord to wake you up. So these were my notes as I um was seeking the Lord about Jezebel and its control in the church.

Control Patterns From Pharaoh To Herodias

SPEAKER_00

As I'm sitting with the Lord, he's giving me insight into Jezebel. His overriding concern is not um his overriding concern is her control. This spirit works very closely with the spirit of control. It's why Moses had to leave Pharaoh's house. Now listen, so Pharaoh was the adopted father of Moses. We know that um Pharaoh's daughter brought Moses to the house, and he was raised by Pharaoh and Pharaoh's what? Wife. So Moses could not be allowed to stay in that house because if he did, he would have been under a Jezebel spirit. Something is biting me. He would have been under a Jezebel spirit, that spirit that is antichrist. That spirit was influencing Pharaoh. It's the same spirit that was influencing Herod, Herodias. Remember Herodias who asked for John the Baptist? This thing is, I think something stung me. Um, Herodias is the one who asked for John the Baptist's head on a platter. That's Jezebel, coming against the work of God. Do you see it more now? Okay. Moses had to leave Pharaoh's house, and you have to leave Pharaoh's house. The church has to leave Pharaoh's house. We have to get out of relationship with this spirit that partners to make us serve in Egypt. It's why Elijah had to go into the wilderness. He had to get away from Jezebel. He had to hide, he had to find God as his hiding place. He was depressed, but he at least was being driven away from Jezebel so that he would not be submitting to her. The Lord will send churches into the wilderness to hide them from the Spirit. I'm going to say that again. The Lord's going to send churches into the wilderness to hide them from the spirit. So some churches are going to be upset. Oh man, we don't have the finances we want. Oh, we don't see the move of God like we want. Well, it's going to cause you to hunger after God. So it's okay. Some church leaders believe they've been delayed or punished. No, the Lord says, You've been hidden. 1

God Hides Elijah And Protects Churches

SPEAKER_00

Kings 17, 2 through 5. When the word of the Lord came to him saying, Get away from here and turn eastward and hide by the brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. So this is Elijah after he proclaimed the drought. And the Lord says, I'm going to take you away from Ahab and Jezebel, and you're going to go to a foreign land, and you're going to hide by this brook where there's flowing water. That's the spirit. So God's going to hide some churches, some of these small churches, some of these churches don't get a lot of prominence, a lot of attention in their communities. They're being built up in God and they're being protected from every spirit that is like the demonic spirit of Jezebel. And it will be that you will drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there. So he went and did according to the word of the Lord, for he went and stayed by the brook cherith, which flows into the Jordan. What am I saying? I want you to understand the Lord has sent you into hiding to get you strength from the Spirit of God.

False Prophecy And Redefining Truth

SPEAKER_00

Jezebel proliferated false prophecy, false voices. This is what we have all over the earth. I keep preaching this in churches where I go and minister. We're in the information age. Information does something. It informs. It informs. It forms within. It's forming something inside. When you get data and you process it, it's now going into your conscious mind, and then you decide how to use it. And it forms behavior, activity, belief systems. And so right now, Jezebel is one of the voices in the world trying to tell people there's a new kind of God. There's a new kind of Christendom. There's a no, there's it's not new. We do get new wine, we do get new revelation, but the revelation still has to honor Christ because all prophecy, what, has to be Jesus. It has to be the testimony of Jesus. It has to be what Jesus is saying. It has to come from his mouth, has to come from his heart, it has to express his personality, has to express his wisdom, has to express his priorities, it has to express his ways. And it's not something that's redefining things. God's not redefining anything right now. Everything's been defined. He's just filling everything. He's not redefining gender, he's not redefining marriage. Marriage is man and a woman. Anything else is not marriage. Don't call it gay marriage. That's not what it is. It's a gay covenant. They're in covenant. It's not holy. I'm not here to preach on that. My point is, God is not redefining anything. If someone's starting to redefine something, you need to be careful. Jezebel comes with false prophecy to confuse and command God's people into an unhealthy direction anywhere but God's perfect will. To confuse and command God's people into an unhealthy direction anywhere but God's perfect will. So the author of confusion is not God, but many times the author of confusion is Jezebel. Jezebel comes in and says, Hey, I know you love religion. Try my style. My style says you can be the focus. My style says you can have power. My style says you can reign and win. My style says you can go get Tony Robbins tapes. See, now we gotta be careful. We're getting into sensuality. Jezebel is sensual. She seduces and teaches. And she tries to take you out of submission to God and being humble and then tries to command you. Command is something you do when you have authority. When you submit to Jezebel's authority, now that spirit commands you to go in the wrong direction. And it's not God's perfect will anywhere but that spirit is saying, if it if it's God's perfect will, we're gonna go left, right, or backwards. But we're

Prayer For Covering And A Call To Share

SPEAKER_00

not going with him. I'm gonna pray. And then the next time you see me, I'm gonna start going through very specific revelations God has given me about Jezebel that'll help you. Father, in the name of Jesus, I give you praise, honor, glory, honor, and power. It all belongs to you. It does not belong to the spirit of Jezebel, it does not belong to the spirit of darkness, it does not belong to Satan. All power of heaven and earth are in your hand. You have the keys to hell in the grave. Hallelujah. You are uh superior, God. You are supreme, you are the preeminence. Glory to God. We are under your lordship, and I pray that we find a healthy hiding place there. Hide us in you. You have been our dwelling place from generation to generation, according to the Psalm of Moses, Psalm 90. What an incredible way to describe who you are. You are literally our covering, you're our tent. You are our temple. You are who we go to, your name, your reputation, your shadow is where we run to find safety. I pray that we stay there, El Shaddai, under your shadow, to receive of your sufficiency, to receive of your victory, to receive of your covering. There is no shadow like yours. Be the shade on our right hand, God. Cover us, guide us. We will not be afraid in Jesus' name. Amen. That's a word for a pastor, that's a word for a brother and a sister, that's a word for a marriage, it's a word for our culture. This is a word for today, and I'm excited about the book God is putting into my spirit. I'm excited about you hearing this. I pray you share with anyone that you think needs to hear it. May the Lord bless you and keep you and make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May He lift his countenance upon you and give you peace. We will be here again, and I hope to see you. I love you.
